Title. Have the rare hunter pets in the molten front been removed? The hyjal rares are up often, but the ones in the molten front are never there. Did all the quests to unlock the zone also.

They are still spawning, but they scale all the way to 122 so they tend to get in the way. Iāve seen people just killing them because they either got attacked by it, think itās going to give them loot, or accidentally got it with AoE (which I do often). I do Molten Front daily as Iām still trying to get the Searing Scorchling.
Noticed that as well. The scaling to 122. Which is strange since level 120 is player cap. If non hunters killing them was a problem then they should of just made them only visible to hunters. Scaling them to 2 levels higher makes no sense imo. Maybe they cant be seen until current level cap now? went there the other day myself, and didnāt see any up either. The green spider that pads around that area where the fire is at is used to be up all the time when going there before bfa. Op is on a rp realm which should even make it easier to see them.

Iām having the same issue on my hunter tbh. Iāve gained access to the molten front, even started doing the daily quests there in case it was needed for the spawning but I havenāt seen a single rare. Not Deth, not Kar, not Skarr, or even a hint of them, even after hours of camping. I know theyāre on long timers but something doesnāt feel right.
Even the phasing there is acting weird. I went back on an old character that had done the entirety of molten front as current content, and despite the moonwell and the sentinel tree being there, all the phasing (the fire blocking the path, the hole in the ground being closed) acted as if it was reset and of course there was no sign of any rares.
Iāve tried warmode, out of warmode, different factions, and servers. Something seems really screwy with the molten front. I filed a ticket about the phasing but was basically told to check wowhead.

My hunter is on MG and having the same issues. Everything unlocked butā¦ nothing. Not even the rares I already have, have seen nothing etc.

Replying again to add that after another day of casual camping I have seen none of the āinsideā rares up. Saw a few other hunters in there who reported same and I directed them to bug report it. The extremely awesome wow Petopia forums are also gathering a little info on this issue if any are interested (canāt post links yet)

Good luck trying to tame solix, if he is ever up. Part of the challenge tame back in cata was throwing frost trap down to slow him while it lowered his health some to get him to taming range while kiting him around in that tunnel place. Now that it was changed to tar trap it is useless, and solix will one shot you. Another needless change to hunters traps back in Legion. Per typical blizz to make a change without looking at the repercussions to classes when they do make changes. Anyhow the rares are not spawning on gorefiend realm either.

yes i have this same issue been 6 days now camping a certain hunter pet and nothing even after server reset but the work experience kids at Blizzard support telling me theres no bugs in the molten front yet not any of the hunter rares spawn at all

According to the thread on petopia, this has been going on since LATE JANUARY.
The rares outside the portal are spawning just fine, but thereās no sign of any of the spiders (or the crab or cat) once you go through into Molten Front. Not on NPCscan, not on a /tar macroā¦ not at all.

Hopefully they are fixing the scaling issues there with the rares in molten front. Most of the spiders there were scaling to 122. The last time I ever saw one that is lol which was months ago. I took a maghar orc level81 to storm peaks to tame skoll, and after hours of camping skoll finally spawned, and it had scaled to 82. Northrend is supposed to scale to level 80 thatās it. Anyways fix your game blizz!

Just adding that Iām also experiencing this problem! Iām up to the third part of the Molten Front āMark of the World Treeā quest line and still have not seen a skerrick of any of the rares.
Whenever Iām in Molten Front playing on Frostmourne with WM on I never see anybody else here so surely ALL the rares havenāt been killed before I come to do my dailies.
Edit: Have now completed The Molten Front Offensive achievement and still no rares.

I donāt want to sound too cynical, but disabling the spawns of pets that still canāt be tamed because of scaling or mechanics bugs sounds a lot easier than fixing the bugs, so I wouldnāt be surprised if the devs did that to address the issues as cheaply as possible. Hopefully, only temporarily.
I recently just upgraded a character to 120 and i noticed a couple of things that kind of suck. 1) Even though i can understand not wanting to grant a toon the reputation that comes with leveling a toon when bought i would think that said toon would still have access to certain zones without going through and doing all the necessary quests that one would have had to do to begin with.
In order to access the Molten Front i had to go back and do all the quests just to gain access. And finally when i did i come to realize that the rares seem to be not showing up or at least even more rarely than before. I just got back from the MF and while Skitterflame showed on my map he was the only but yet the area was very quiet in terms of activity.
Ive also been reading that Blizz have nerfed the rares to 122 which doesnt make a lot of sense to me either. I had tamed Skarr twice on other toons a few years back and remember how much of a pain in the butt it was and was looking forward to having an easier time with this new toon.

What quest line do you do to start questing in mount Hyjal to open the molten front? I did the quest as Hyjal Burns, but ysera isnāt there to turn my quest in. I can see a question mark on my mini map, but no ysera
Is Magni there with a lot of Azerite stuff going on? A lot of people are running into complications with questing in Nordrassil because they took his quest in the Heart Chamber then ignored it. It phases the Nordrassil area. Do the quest (do not abandon it, that doesnāt clear the phasing) and you will be able to get back to Hyjal questing.
Yes heās there but I donāt have the quest youāre talking about. So what should I do?
Go to the Heart chamber in Silithus and pick up A Fresh Trauma from Magni, then back to Hyjal to complete it.
Just took a newly boosted dwarf hunter to hyjal, and did all the zone quests for coming down the mountain achievement. Then did the quests to open up Molten Front. Did the dailies in hyjal that lead to the turn in quest in Molten Front. Did the dailies there also, and went to every rare spawn location, and nothing was up. Did see that the rare fire turtle near the firelands raid entrance had spawned, but that was it. Read the same thing on Petopias website. The rares in the Hyjal quest leveling areas are spawning normally after it changes from the Flamewake to the regrowth, but there are still issues with the molten front rares never spawning.
