Kinda getting sick and tired of using TSM for minor purchases…and I don’t use it, I have to scroll through 100’s of pages of 1 copper bids. God I hope AH addons get nuked. WoW economy has become more complex than world economy at this point.

Modern AH

  1. Got better design/Style.
  2. Ease of posting
  3. Ease of search
  4. Ease of bulk purcheses
  5. Does not require addon usage for nion-AH-no-life-money-making-people.
  6. Prevents obvious scams.

The only people who are against it are likely those who have some scamming techniques up their wrists.

You can use auctionator instead, Tsm is a very high level addon and too complicated to use,

Auctionator is my top 5 favorite add-ons. It makes it nearly impossible to get scammed. It will sell your items a copper less than the competition and allows you to buy in bulk in the most cost efficient way possible. It is a must have addon.

Definitely having the new AH on Wrath would be major QoL.

but with that comes a new kind of exploiters, such as those posting 1 item at low price quantity to snipe someone that just drag, drop and post items in the AH.

Because Modern AH doesn’t support /tsm scan

And seeing as they’ve just had a major hardware failure…no thanks. I was able to keep doing ‘my thing’ thanks to being able to update the AH database TSM uses, manually.

Pagle has a lot of people posting things like Wool at 900g for a single cloth. Just to break addons that either use ‘Market Value’ or, like in your example, underbid by 1 copper.

Addons do a wonderful job at modernizing the AH. They are light-years more advanced than anything Blizzard can puke up.

the modern ah ui is hot garbage. it is missing sorting features that the old one had. like the ability to sort by stack or several other sorting types.

No thanks. The original AH is fine.

You don’t need to.
You just type the number you want to buy.
Everything you post is posted as a “unique” item. It falls to the buyer to buy the items.

E.g. If you post 4000 items, it means anyone can buy either 1 or 3999 if they want.

This is unnecessary.
I suggest you to actually check the current AH on retail before posting like this.

The modern AH of WoW is certainly nifty.

You might think this is optimal selling strategy but it isn’t. Sometimes you should actually list higher as those will sell.

BTW, I’m not opposed to the retail ah features and think that layering justifies it implemented in wrath, as long as it’s only ui upgrades and not xfaction or xrealm groups
