MOCKERY: Void isn’t fel… what are you on about
We just need void/holy mixed naaru or other beings. Which blizz already said they would add lore to explain some new combos.
Like these holy artifact weapons based on naaru.
Tauren and Draenei Warlocks.
While both exist, they only exist as enemy units. There’s a reason for that.
I’m glad blizzard is removing those restrictions too. Because we can choose if our characters are anti-heroes or not.
Some classes already anti hero arcs. Like demonhunters or warlocks. Excluding races from it is a bit weird since the whole class is shady in the first place.
Those are technically druids with extra abilities that make them appear to be Shaman. They aren’t.
Thanks for ruining my day.
I’d tell ya to play some dragonflight questing and see the new combos : 3 and come back after you see the new shamans xD.
I mean, not really. You’re going to be a hero or you’re not going to complete quests.
They tried the whole “you can be a little bit evil” thing when they let people “side” with Sylvanas in BfA, and then all of those people got super peepants when that plot thread amounted to nothing, which it was always inevitably going to.
If you are a warlock or death knight you do some pretty evil things with the dark magics.
Yes you already play anti heroes. The main campaign has you doing good things. But your whole class choice doesn’t necessarily make you a classic hero.
Warlocks doing soul/fel magic is already pretty evil knowing the source of magic is life magics. So is death magics too.
A tauren warlock would already be like normal warlocks, not really ideal members of there societies.
Sure, DKs and warlocks can be morally questionable as to the source of their power, but at the end of the day they’re killing the same bosses and serving the same goals as Goldie McPaladin. They just do it with a “using the powers of evil for good” twist.
I mean RP your character however you want, of course, but the game’s limitations mean that player characters will pretty much always be public-serving goodie-two-shoes.
Yea ok. So rolling dranei/tauren warlock wouldn’t be so bad. Since all the other warlocks do that too…
Personally, I think all the issues with “Every Race can be Every Class” can be solved with something similar to what people call “Class Skins.” Or rather Racial Skins.
Racial Skins would alter the animations and spell effects to fit the concept of the race. Sunwalkers Paladin and Loa Paladins would be different from those following the Light. Different races would have different looking spells just like we have with Druid forms and Shaman Totems today.
They’d be social outcasts, just like most warlocks, but sure.
This is the dream.
Personally can’t wait for goblin and nightborne paladins. Or kelfin if we ever get our water goblins.
You can be an antihero and still complete the heroic task at the end of the day. Antihero describes personality attributes, or rather the absence of traditional heroic attributes; it doesn’t mean the opposite of the hero.
Paladins to void elves
Yo person, they can totally be a Knight that utilizes void magic.
Unfortunately gameplay wise, that would be a renamed paladin.
You bite your tongue with this heresy.
Lightforged on the other hand, I stand by. Fel magic and Demons go hand in hand, Light is the opposing force of Fel, so how they would exist is beyond logical lore.
Yea. I can imagine a bunch of chaotic good dranei/tauren/ night elf warlocks.
Could have some illadari be warlocks if they couldn’t handle the demon within for example.
I hadn’t realized who it was that started this thread before clicking on it. But as soon as I saw “ignored content” from the OP, I knew exactly why lol.
It is pure cringe.

Just needs class skins.
Fel magic and Demons go hand in hand, Light is the opposing force of Fel, so how they would exist is beyond logical lore.
Light was the opposing force of Death at one point too, but Lightforged DKs still happened.
The re-defining of the six forces in recent years has made it clear that they all just kind of more or less oppose each other, but can still play along when needed or forced to.

Void knight void elf would be petty cool
