Mobs Glitching In Multiple Classic Dungeons

The Dire Maul Capital Gardens dungeon is completely broken since 9.0.5. Mobs glitch through the floor becoming untargetable and making it impossible to finish the dungeon. Please remove this dungeon from the pool of random classic dungeons until it is fixed.

I have encountered this behavior on 3/3 runs since 9.0.5 and did not encounter it at all before 9.0.5.

EDIT: Changed the title to reflect the fact that this is not limited to one wing of Dire Maul, but is, in fact, happening in multiple classic dungeons.

It seems that it’s ALL the Dire Maul wings that glitch after the patch. I second removing all the Dire Maul wings until Blizzard fixes their stuff. You get a 15min cd from leaving.

Also, Ironbark the Redeemed will not open the door to continue the dungeon. he just keeps popping back and forth without ever finishing what he should be doing.

Dire Maul still bugged with pathing issues.
Lots of folks are reporting the same problem with Mauradon, BRD, and other classic dungeons.

Happening in more than just Dire Maul. It happened in Mauradon as well. Seems to be a major issue with all the classic dungeons.

Yeah I just experienced it in Mauradon Earth Song Falls. The final boss and all the trash leading up to her are glitched. We had to abandon the run.

Same just now.
All through Landslide was fine, giving us hope. Then, as if the ghost of Landslide had his wicked revenge, our spirits were crushed.
All the mob groups up to and including Princess evaded. Could not finish.

Still happening 4 days after patch. Hello Blizzard?? Anything to say about this, or it just doesn’t matter that anyone levelling with classic dungeons can’t progress at this point? The big chunk of XP comes at the end of the dungeon - not very helpful when you’re not able to actually finish them.

We just did Dire Maul and literally ran all the way though, because the mobs aggro, but they don’t move. Killed the bosses, except for last one as the tree guy won’t open the door.

I really hope this turns out to be something they can fix during maintenance tomorrow. Because if it’s not, I have a sinking feeling that the classic dungeons will be unplayable for a long time and that makes me sad.

Adding my two cents: my lowbie shaman just joined a group and tried to do Dire Maul: Warpwood Quarter. Pusillin was bugged (teleporting), and the mobs to kill just going into the dungeon were bugged/untargetable and teleporting. There was even a random tree over by where Pusillin usually stands, hitting us, taking about half his health in damage from us before teleporting a bit away and resetting. We were unable to go past the front door and had to just leave. Someone in the group mentioned part of the Earthsong Falls wing in Maraudon was also having the same issue. Seems patch 9.0.5 broke Classic content.

After maintenance I took a level 60 druid to Capital Gardens and found the mobs still glitching. In addition I noticed that in the areas where mobs are falling through the floor, I cannot place Efflorescence. It’s like the game is confused about where the floor is.

Disappointing to hear. I figured after a 4 hour maintenance window that they’d address something like leveling dungeons being completely unfinishable.

Ridiculous that it’s been a week now and can’t even do classic dungeon rotation in fears of getting one of four or five dungeons that are unplayable right now.

They keep tossing out Shadowlands advertisements for 20% off, but a new player will experience leveling like this… unplayable leveling dungeons and having to resort to a 30 minute dungeon deserter debuff?

Ridiculous.

Queued for random classic dungeons on a low level mage. The first three were fine and I started to wonder if they took the glitched dungeons out of the rotation. But then the fourth queue popped and it was an in-progress warpwood quarter and everything was glitched. I also noticed that I couldn’t blink and that arcane orb wouldn’t move.

The group abandoned the dungeon when they couldn’t get the tree to open the door for the final boss.

Still bugged as of today, is this just going to be left broken forever?

had this happen in maraudon last boss section dungeon, everything evaded, and could not be killed, also agro drops if go far from mobs. making this bug annoying.

it happen in dire maul, as well where could not talk to imp, or even the tree, and all mobs where broken and could not be attacked, also pets vanish if have them out.

I was just in a run of Earth Song Falls that was completely fine. None of the mobs were glitched, including the ones leading up to the princess.

EDIT: So I got on a level 60 druid again and ran through Dire Maul Capital Gardens and Warpwood Quarter. I encountered no glitched mobs in either instance and Ironbark was even able to open the door to the final boss. Hopeful that this is fixed!
