Mobile Authenticator App?

Dunno if this was asked before and my search-fu blows.

I have two devices that I want to setup the app on, my phone and my tablet. Am I able to use both of those to authenticate my Blizzard account? Or do I need to pick one and stick with that?

Am I making sense?

Also, do I need to be on a cell phone data plan to use the app, or can I use it with a WiFi connection?

Okay, the app works on my tablet which is WiFi only, so another question answered.
