mmoRPGs are not for everyone

Yeah … now it’s just like finger sport with numbers and pewpew

People also need to realise that if they are no good at this game, than stop coming here to complain it’s too hard.

In Rift there were over 20 or more classes you can build to make your character , but the Rift players make sure you can only choose 4 classes . Not the kind of game you want to enjoy .

If the Dev’s on any game could balance all classes than more people would play more of a variety.

An amazing revelation. I’m so stunned, that I’ve lost the ability to focus enough to read the diatribe that follows.

Well you can’t blame players that want to play WoW like a console game. You have to blame Blizzard. The developers have filled WoW with Action RGP, E-Sports, and now in Shadowlands Roguelight content.

I wish Blizzard would focus more on WoW being a MMORGP. But I think Blizzard is focused on all of their games being marketable as some type of E-Sports content.

If you’re not doing the highest level of content, you can make your own group and not require min-maxing in your group. If you join another group and the leader kicks you because you’re playing worse talents, that’s their choice. Their group, their rules.

No one is going to force you to min-max, but in that same regard it’s unrealistic to get upset when people choose to bring someone who has a better talent build to their group over you to tackle a boss or dungeon or whatever.

While its true the game has attracted some fans that could probably care less about either the rpg or the mmo aspect, what you’re complaining about isn’t the fault of them. It’s the player’s desire to min/max every little thing that not only corrupts perception, but historically has even hurt aspects of the game like professions, racials or talents.

You say that, but you are using the meta marksmen hunter spec as you post.

Or when subs fall off in large numbers and the developers start listening to players you could post your views about the game like the OP.

They started listening and we are getting shadowlands, which is a good thing, what they shouldnt do (and good thing they havent) is listen to the rants of people like Rälph, trying to shove his dumb view of the game up your butt, just like the people advocating for the removal of LFR, both types fall in the most disgusting type of player.

Well I guess if you don’t agree with someone’s opinion and instead of giving an argument against it you can always attack the person individually.

Na, its even simplier than that, im fine with RPers, or min maxers, different people enjoy different aspects of the game, so they play how they want, thats good, whats not good is the game having people like Rälph that must shove their outdated trash vision up anyone’s butt.

I bet people who agree with this OP still min max anything and everything they possibly can in game.

And this is the core of the issue, instead of playing a game for the gameplay and journey, people play it as a way to “win” because they have to have a desperate need to feel better about themselves

Which is quite silly considering games are made to be won so you feel better and give them your money, like cant fall for a more obvious trap.

If that is their entire goal then they should be playing a simpler game

I find BoS to be degenerate gameplay so I never pick it even if it is a huge DPS boost and seemed to be doing just fine even log wise.

Unless you are going for that 99% parse, choosing the most optimal build is irrelevant, especially when the playstyle to achieve that 99% is trash

Oh wait we are talking about people who are doing m+ and heroic and feel they “NEED” the most optimal unfun build while the reality is they dont need it at all, not even in mythic raiding, you only need to top build if you are going for world first or trying to get max parses

You mean the one of the two hunter spec that are in the bottom 3-5 when it comes to being played and m + in raids based on warcraftlogs?

Yeah MM sure is a popular speci, and then you see that the most played spec is BM that also parses the highest

:joy: I always impress the ladies by telling them my ilvl!

So you aren’t playing meta hunter spec? You still are stacking meta stats, talents, essences, probably something you read from icy veins. You also probably would do the same for azerite if you had the proper pieces.

Your post is complaining about people following builds not making their own. Lol.

This is when he says that he came up with everything on his own cause hes a wow prodigy, ill save you the read m8.

That is called moving the goalpasts when proven wrong, quite desperate of you.

I know this is quite a hard concept to understand for average people who dont make their own choices when building the characters but some of us can read and think and make a choice that fit our gameplay.
And all those talents, essences and traits I chose myself, though I agree there is little choice when it comes to azerite traits since most are boring gameplay wise so you are mostly limited to the one that gives a lot of haste.

Also is mastery meta? Cuz i love stacking it simply so I can play around some troll mechanics, but hey, must be cuz a guide told me xd

That is what you dont get, you like to believe everyone else is like you, I am nothing like you and most average people so I understand your inability to accept what I say, some of us are just more special ;^)

You make choices that fit the game play the guide told you. But it’s okay you can flame me because the irony of you making this post and following a build is enough to give me joy for a life time. Looking forward to your next post!
