MM losing pets, what’s next?

World of Warcraft is a game played by millions of players. The mere notion of “but it could’ve been an option” … congratulations, everything is now an option. There’s a change that makes sense and is perfectly in-line with how players behave and want judging by their in-game actions? Nope, you now get an “option” rather than a change that makes sense.

Don’t forget to multiply that sentiment by at least one or two million since there’s a few million players the world over. Since one group of players get their options, everyone else (or at least some arbitrary random other groups) also need their options.

I’m not ignoring what you, and others, are saying. What I’m saying is that what you are saying is at best irrelevant. Because these types of changes occur for everyone as that’s the way you have to do things when you are making a product for literally millions of people. This change is catering to what Marksmanship hunters have, on some level judging by their playpattern and discourse surrounding it, wanted going back around ten years.

Adding “options” to things that are, at best irrelevant, is how you create bloat. What you are proposing is a mentality that just creates an endless amount of “optional bloat.” This is why what you are saying isn’t a realistic or sensible suggestion, sorry.
