They gotta start separating tuning into more buckets - BGs are already a wasteland and as the entryway to new PVPers, changes like this are absolute cancer for the health of the game
Well, to be honest here…
I think Survival is more dangerous but few players use it because the spec is a bit complicated, especially for those used to mashing their 4 button rotation with beastmaster spec.
Having said that, Feral got another buff to regrowth!!!
The feral buff will definitely help me off heal players when I can’t get in there to do damage.
This change seems like a huge disconnect, almost as if the people making balance changes dont actually play the game. These 2 abilitys already do so much damage, the reason people play bm over marks is because spamming kill command doesnt require you to stand still and is overall more effective. Doubling down on one shotting casters with 2 abilitys doesnt really seem good for the game.
But then buffing marks doesnt seem like the play. Also a side note the warlock talent

Has been bugged for over a year now, i have reported it so many times in that period of time and blizzard still refuses to fix it. DO BETTER.

I think they’re “Arena” buffs. Because who cares about BG’s amirite!
It’s difficult for MM to get damage out in RSS when they’re getting trained by two melee.

Fun RSS games are 3 plate melee (or a sub rogue) in a small map with frequent LOS issues.
Idk why they didn’t just buff their armor neutral damage like they’ve done before. Rapid Fire buffs are not deserved
Its sad to see, MM has this stigma of being annoying in random bgs that arent rated. They are viable in open environments…inside a arena is another story. Thatas sad, i would gladly accept damage nerfs if they rework our defensives or even change the playstyle a bit, making it something like a range rogue, it fits better with the spec fantasy
I think last week they buffed our 2 defensives cd, the heal and the damage reduc.
You’re absolutely right. Survival is the biggest sleeper threat on the board, and it’s very fun.
It’s hard for most ranged to get damage off when trained by two melee, but the answer isn’t to just increase damage. The answer is to tweak the toolkit so they have more windows to get damage off. BUT, that is harder than just increasing damage I GUESS.
BM will still be better after this goes through. MM is too much of a one trick pony.
