I am convinced they don’t exist in retail any more. I have 26 guys that I ran that place with every week for years.
I was in the process of leveling 4 more to join the fun when I got wind that they were available in this event.
I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants them or think they might want them, to get them now. Even if you run 20 normals for the bones, it sure as hell beats years of disappointing farming.

It’s easy to miss but it’s an appearance from the Cloak of Infinite Potential. Curious if the insignia is harder to notice on Tauren and Undead. 
edit: Found the cloak and only the warsong jaw peeks out on Tauren.

Why? It takes 20 runs minimum of SoO just to get the shoulders, not including all heirlooms, which are 2 each. There’s achievements for questlines that can take a day or two to finish, plus all sorts of other ones for cosmetics. Plus earning Bronze.
Why would you want to limit people like that? Plunderstorm was longer than a month.

Because I’d rather have an event last a month than stretched out for 3 months with Blizz chaining us down the whole time
Sounds like a you issue. I’m not “chained” to anything and I’d rather take my time, while also doing stuff in Retail.
What you’re proposing isn’t feasible given the amount of things to earn and do.

Axshully, you can also get the shoulders in Heroic too. It’s where I got mine.
I actually cared a lot about them because you can use them in the mage tower and I didn’t do most of them.
Running the same raid over and over every week for over a year when it’s become one shottable on every boss isn’t fun, it’s pure tedium.

Do people still use void storage? I honestly don’t even know what it is for…never did. 
I’m given to understand it was for Transmog purposes; anything you stuffed in there could be mog’d.
These days I shove any artifacts or legendaries I can into there.
AS to why we have a VS mount: simply put we don’t have one ATM 
requires 20 bones for guaranteed, normal raid drops 1, raids reset daily, you can enter the raid at level 60.
You can walk in with basically no gear, and still complete it easily.
