About Us:
Mist is a newly formed guild on Thrall and is comprised of motivated and highly skilled players that have the desire to push endgame content. We are looking for friendly, positive, and committed players who can communicate well within the guild. After all, the best part of being in an exceptional guild is the lasting memories and rewarding progression that you will gain; come prepared for some great times, some long nights, and definitely some boss killing and phat loot.
Our goal is to advance as a guild focusing on 20 man (mythic) raids throughout all progression content. Outside of raiding, many of our members also work on Mythic +, PvP/Arena/BG’s, old content, and various achievement runs.
Our Philosophy:
Our guild has become a home to exceptionally skilled raiders, many of whom prefer not (or are not able) to schedule more than two days for raiding due to real-life commitments, or simply because that is what they prefer.
While we admittedly have a pretty relaxed raiding schedule, we pride ourselves on having a fun-yet-focused raid environment. We are a competitive team, and thus we require near perfect attendance, a positive and respectful attitude, and that all members maintain personal character progression and class/role knowledge outside of raid times. At no point will anyone be carried. We will not go over our scheduled raid time, nor will we add any extra mandatory raid days. That being said, the important of attendance cannot be stressed enough due to raiding only two days a week.
Attendance:
Imperative for success. Applying and being accepted means you are making a promise to us, yourself, and the entire raid roster that you be there on raid nights. We understand that emergencies to happen, but we do require a 90% attendance. This is to ensure everyone gets to play the game and get what they want out of the raid team.
Accountability:
Another must have quality. Recognizing and assessing your own mistakes can make or break a raid team. Constructive criticism isn’t just a name, it’s an ideal. Addressing problems and handling them in a positive way is what we expect every raider to bring to the table.
Attitude:
Maintaining a level head even through trials and tribulations is the only way we can push high-level endgame content.
Ambition:
Ambition breeds success. Staying motivated, though sometimes tough, is crucial. Pushing yourself and others to play at the highest level possible is a necessity.
Active:
Whether you’re playing sixteen hours a day or two, staying active and helping fellow guild members is greatly encouraged and appreciated. Mythic +, PvP, raid finder, whatever the activity may be, be inclusive and reach out.
We expect all members to act as adults and behave respectfully when dealing with people both in and out of the guild. With that in mind, we do have a sense of humor that can be rather sarcastic and obnoxious at times, so the ability to laugh at yourself and participate in the jokes is definitely a good quality to have!
