Way back in the Vanilla days I hit Warlord back on Kil’jaedin with my shaman Shikane (This char). I quit some time in TBC. I’ve dragged him out of moth balls but the only Title/achieve I have is Stone Guard. I still have most my warlord gear in my bank
Super upset that my Warlord no longer has any of the pvp titles and none of the classic pvp mogs. Is there a way to get these legacy titles back?
The most frustrating thing is my wife’s warrior who never went that far still has all her titles and mogs.
Unfortunately there are no GMs on this forum who can fix this issue for you as this forum is one for players to assist other players. You will have to submit a ticket for GM assistance.
They didn’t have any support articles that I could immediately find in regards to missing Warlord titles, but you can start with your ticket via the link I provided you. Now, to set expectations - you may receive an automated/templated response first. This is not unusual. What you do is hit the option to the tune of “I still need assistance” and it’ll kick your ticket up in the queue for a GM to review. Leave out any extra information, such as your wife’s circumstances. Too much extraneous information can muddy things up.
Also, the time you may see pop up for how long your ticket will take to be responded to isn’t specific to your ticket. It’s only an estimation based on the oldest ticket in the system, so if it’s something crazy? Pay it no mind.
If by chance your old account did not update to TBC back when it first came out, then you could still grind up to R14 on any toon of your choice. But when you did decided to move it over to TBC you would come in with the title you had just before TBC prepatch, not anything earned after. So if indeed you did have the HWL title, you will have gotten zero credit for it or for anything done beyond the last patch. So yes, it is possible that you may have had that title at one time and even had it displayed on that very toon. But you get no credit for it after final patch ended.
I think those titles are gone, but I am not 100% positive.
I think I still carry Private, but also think any title over a certain rank reset.
There would be no achievement, as that system came in later, with Wrath original (Not Classic). The one you do have would be an account bound amalgomation of total honor as you logged into each character with HK.
Your mog should show if you log into the character that has the items in the inventory, have you tried equipping it?
Of course there is almost no information from the original system, and everything talking about the current classic rules.
I still have my highest Vanilla titles on all of my OG characters. Looks like it’s tracked in the Achievement tab under the Legacy > PvP section. I see First Sergeant and all of the preceding ranks listed there. If OP doesn’t see them there, that’s likely why the title isn’t showing available. May be related to not logging into the toon between the time of earning the old legacy titles and the actual achieve system to track it being implemented. I’ve actually been playing this entire time, so that’s the only reason I can think of.
I’d say definitely put a ticket in, and see where it goes from there.
As for everything else you’re reading into? Could very well be there, but as the OP said they quit back in TBC, those character counts may not be factored in as yet if they need to log into older characters to get them to register all the data that has sat stagnent all of these years. And too, even if they did log into every character, we all know the armory and by extension, the API data for other sites rarely updates immediately. It could take until reset or even longer.
All that though, is moot. The OP has the information they need to push the issue with the staff who can help them figure out what is going on, and they can explain any issues themselves. What little data can be seen on our side of things is very likely not the whole story and it’s not our place to accuse anyone of “trying to make a grab” for anything. We don’t have all of the information that Blizzard does.
