I had a full spark from last week and a splinter from this week and both are now missing from my inventory, checked the bank too just in case. You can see I didn’t craft anything.
Did you check your Trade Skill Bank, Gynch? I can see a Splintered Spark of Dream and a Spark of Dream there.

Good point. They’re considered profession materials so if you click “Deposit all reagents” they’ll get sucked into there. And I don’t think opening the bank bags normally opens the Reagent Bank, so it’s easy to overlook.

I’m just glad they were there. Having them genuinely vanish would be terrible. (And worrying to anyone else who hadn’t had it happen… yet?)

Sorta the same issue. I did place my Splintered spark in the regent bank and now it is gone. There are no spark(s) in my bank or regent bank. Kind of a big issue. How can you place something in the bank and then it simply disappear?
Is this on your Orc Death Knight, Stormcrow? You haven’t logged into this Druid for some time, so that is my guess.
You have a Spark of Dreams and Splintered Spark of Dreams in your Storm-Battered Reagent Bag.

As my hunter, TJPhaser, the game bugged me out of a Splintered Spark of Dreams and I’d like it to be returned. I finished Malicia’s PvP quest Proving in Battle and obtained a Malicia’s Hoard which contained a Splintered Spark of Dreams. But, after clicking it, the item was consumed after casting something and provided no Spark of Dreams, I had another Splintered Spark of Dreams in my bank. Please, solve this issue and return the item to me. Here I hope to hear from you soon.

If I understand you correctly, Tjphaser, you should have one Splinter and one Spark of Dreams? Is that right?

Yes, I have a spark of dreams from last week quest and a splinter from this week. I should have two splinters this week since Malicia’s Hoard dropped one too.
I may be mistaken, but aren’t the splinters limited to once per week per character similar to last season?

According to the logs I’m looking at, I don’t show that you received a Splinter from Malicia’s Hoard. I believe it is only the potential to get one, not a guarantee.
You appear to have received a Splintered Spark of Dreams on 11/15 at 3:56 UTC.

Malicia’s hoard dropped one for me today, I even read it before clicking on it. Then a time bar appeared and fill out before the item disappeared but I haven’t realized that no spark was produced until I tried to recraft my weapon after buying the rest of the materials.
I’m sorry, Tjphaser, but I’m not seeing that in the logs.
I can see Faint Whispers of Dreaming, Rousing Ire, a Mark of Honor, and a Bloodstained Pattern: Infurious Hide, but I don’t see a Splintered Spark of Dreams.
You are welcome to submit a ticket to see if a Game Master can see something different, but as far as I can tell according to these logs you received your Splintered Spark of Dreams on 11/15, which looks to be when you completed A Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens.

The issue is now resolved. The item was not in any bags on my DK, but after reset, all items returned. I think there is a error when placing a splintered spark in a different bag (regent bag/ bank) than is originally went in. I replicated this on my Hunter and the spark also did not reappear till reset.
