Missing characters

I need help locating my long time hunter. Havent played since Shadowlands. Bought midnight but only my level boosted warrior from Shadowlands is available. Missing my day 1 vanilla grand marshal night elf hunter, a Dk, and Dh. Tried logging onto the old realm it was on (Darkspear) tried creating new char and deleted, clearing cache, and all the other suggested options. But considering my warrior was there and I was able to log in I dont believe my account had been compromised just to delete my most prized character. Please help!!

Is it possible you had a different account? Usually that is common. A different email, an old wow license still not merged into bnet, etc.

Do you remember the name of that character or others and which servers? Might be hard given name releases have likely occurred, but not impossible.

No other account. Same blizzard account since 2004

Character name I last remember his as is MercenaryHB. Original vanilla name was Heeram created on Bonechewer in 2004 wow vanilla launch. Mained until shadowlands. Hes my everything lol

From what I can see, Mercenarian, the WoW license on this account is not from day one Vanilla. It was created in 2020.

You have a second Battle.net account, also a @Hotmail address, but starts with a C. It looks like you have a named WoW license on that which was created in 2005. That one several characters on Darkspear, including a Hunter, Rogue, Warrior, and Demon Hunter, plus a Death Knight on Tich.

It looks like you just purchased Midnight on this license so I would recommend putting in a refund request. It might be able to be processed through our automated refund system. If not, put in a ticket and let our Support staff know that you purchased it for the wrong WoW license on the wrong bnet account.

Vrakthis. I appreciate your help as this has been confusing me but i’m left with more questions now. Im off work and have time to sit down and try to dig into this.

I am looking through my bnet account and dont see anything past me buying shadowlands. How are you able to see my original account and the characters. Am i only able to access that by email that starts with a C but both accounts are attached to my phone number?( its been the same number for over 20 years). Im at a wall. I remember playing my hunter and the warrior im posting on under the same account. I need guidance on how I would start the process to regain that account if that makes sense. Thank you greatly

He has tools that allow him to see if there other account registered using account identifying information, assuming its all real.

One possible way forward, hinted at by Vrak:

In other words, get a refund on the Midnight purchase on the “wrong” license and use that to purchase Midnight on the correct license.

use the purchase failure ticket path and they will have midnight refunded to you in fast. IF the self help one fails, simply click I still need help at the bottom of that same page to submit a manual ticket for the refund.
