I had a 120 druid I played prior to Shadowlands release. It was there before I let my sub run out mid year this year. I had race changed from night elf to troll. I’ve reactivated but cannot locate my druid on the server I’m certain it was on. It’s gone! My account does not appear to be hacked, everything else is fine.
I’ve put in a ticket, but the response time is very slow. Is this a known issue? I’ve been playing WoW for years, never heard of anyone having this problem.
It sounds like you may just be looking at the wrong realm here. Your Troll Druid exist on Perenolde. They seem to be available to you without issue once you switch to that realm.
It was, I ended up googling the issue and found it answered in another post. The realm list did not show that I still had characters on that server, and it’s been a while since I last logged in so I had forgotten about it. I’ve played on and off for years and this is the first time I’ve run across this particular issue.
Also, the character wasn’t listed under anything else I could think to check. Nothing in the forum character switch, nothing in my account page, nothing in the in-game shop. No evidence that I still had a character on Perenolde.
It’s not a big deal at all, I just really wonder if there isn’t a better way to let players know where their characters might be? Am I missing something, somewhere? What happens if I’m a player who doesn’t use forums, and doesn’t google an answer?
Not really, Alestrom. Sometimes you can jog your memory from histories, but if there wasn’t anything like a transfer, etc., nothing is likely to show.
