i have a folder in my WTF folder called Abithyl and i don’t remember creating this character. It’s not in my list of characters and not in my deleted list. I have no idea where the character went.
What’s the direct path to that folder? It should be contained within a realm folder if you fiddled with some addons for the character.

It could also have been a throwaway character. Per the following article, there are limitations in place dependent on the character’s level.

it’s in wow\retail\WTF\account\my account\area52. it’s an lvl 25 alliance character and if i deleted it it should be in my list to recover it but i can’t find it anywhere
That means you would only have had 90 days to undelete it before it was purged from the system for good.
You’re always welcome to submit a ticket and see if a GM can have a peek for you, but it genuinely sounds like it might have been something that happened a little beyond our ability to do anything about.

Keep in mind that that they won’t be able to recreate the character for you, but may happily take a look and see what information they can provide, see if perhaps it was transferred to another realm rather than deleted.
Though I’d imagine if it were transferred, it’d be in a different realm folder.

yeah it’s seems weird if i deleted it and they get rid of it…why is it still in the realm list…they must purge all them after awhile…
Only after we elect to delete them. They don’t delete active characters. The article I linked gives the windows available for us to change our minds.

i see that and i didn’t realize the timeline of deleted characters…i must have deleted it at some point in the past but couldn’t remember. I was surprised to see it in the folder and when i searched for it i found it made me curious where it went that’s all
Deleting a character doesn’t remove it’s WTF file. You would need to manually remove the folder.

Seeing nothing on this license by that name. We do periodically purge the lower level deleted characters.
