I have returned to wow after many years and my main is missing, it doesn’t appear anywhere in the account that I can see. It has by far the most hours played and I would like to play that character in the new expansion. I can’t find any way to contact support so I am writing here.
What is the character’s name and what realm are they on?

If you remember what realm your main was on - try creating a fresh character on it? That may force a list refresh.

Have you tried the character restore service?
Hope you get this figured out, my friend. I know it can be very frustrating to lose such a valued character.
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried character restore service and I tried creating a new character on the realm and it still has not appeared.
I found an e-mail from 2009 where I paid for a realm transfer, to Kael’thas, so I am sure it should be on that realm, but it’s nowhere to be found.
It looks like you have characters on a few realms, Anomandarius.
Coilfang, Kael’thas, Korgath, and Stormreaver.
You have “high” level characters on Coilfang and Stormreaver.
Keep in mind we had a level squish with the Shadowlands expansion so your characters may be a bit lower level than you might remember them because of that.

Thanks!! When I tried Coilfang I found the character! I do not remember doing that transfer at all, but here it is, “squashed” indeed. Appreciate the help.
