There is a cobalt mining node in Borean Tundra, located near position 91, 41 where it gives you the mining skill up, but doesn’t allow you to loot the ore/crystals.
Hey out of curiosity, do you have the mining skill for it? I was doing the BT to HF run last night with my guild to pick up flight points and someone mined a red node. They were able to do it and got a skill point, but didn’t get any ore.
Just wondering if that’s the same thing here.
Its currently at 409 mining skill, which should be plenty.

It’s not the only one, most of the cobalt nodes in Transborea are bugged, and I’ve had several bugged nodes around Scourgeholme in Icecrown as well. I’m reporting them through the bug tracker, but blizzard owes us this ore >:(
There’s few of these in Argent Crusade quest area in Icecrown, you can’t loot them at all.
ive had nodes seem that i can’t tap
because…being used by other player …and no one is there but me >.>
