I’m not sure if this is the right place for this but i bought a brand new HP gaming desktop and i’m still running into lag in raids and world content.
The specs are HP Pavilion gaming desktop
AMD Ryzen 7 2700
16 GB ddr4
1tb hd with 128 SSD
AMD rx580 card
I feel like with these specs i shouldn’t be running into these issues. I don’t even have the graphics all the way up i think its at 7 or 8. Any ideas/comments?

if it doesn’t seem like that thread applies to you, can you describe your lag issue a little more? what lags, when does it lag, describe what you’re seeing when you say it is lagging, etc.
My frame rates drop significantly. I’m aware of the lag with the world quests but in raids and when i have a large group i get significant frame drop
What do you mean by significant? Are we talking about 120fps to 70fps in raids or 120fps to low teen fps?
Try resetting your UI - move the Interface, Cache, and WTF folders out of the WoW_VERSION_ folder and relaunch without adding any back. Simply disabling the addons is not the same.
I’ve got an i9-9900K, GeForce 2080 Ti, Windows on one m.2 SSD, and WoW on another m.2 SSD. For a bit, my framerate was dropping down to low-mid teens, even after I started reducing graphic settings. My computer should have no problems getting decent frame rates.
I finally got sick of it and tried moving those folders out just to see what would happen, and sure enough, my framerate has been all but locked at max (it will occasionally drop down by .1 fps, but I can live with that) with all settings turned back up to where they should be.
It took a bit to rebuild my UI, but to say it was completely worth it is a huge understatement.
