Done. Thanks for telling us.

Also done. Looks like the advice is to keep your question short, to the point, and without extra explanations for a better chance of it being picked.

Lmao that thread is cooked.

in other words “are you planning to go back to a system where people can be locked out of content based on kangaroo court social opinion?”.

If you say things to wildly out of line that anyone would see it as a problem you get banned. So nothing to “toxic” goes on in this game ok blizzard makes sure of that if they make sure of anything its that.

The power not being in the hands of the players is a good thing in my opinion cause they can’t be trusted with it and demonstrated that numerous times throughout this games history.

Straw-manning is less-than constructive. But considering you have given me an opening to elaborate, I shall take the opportunity presented.

In season 4 of DF I had put together a group of players new to RBGs whom for one reason or another, never did them before. I won’t pretend like we were going to win any pro tournaments, but most of the group was able to get the vanilla rank 14 sets. Throughout the entire season, I only ever had to remove 2 people for poor manners.

In the group I had lead, everyone, pugs included, were generally very positive. TWW rolls around, and suddenly, it is a LOT easier to get in blitz than rbgs… When I come on late at night now, it is not unusual for there to be NO rbg groups in que.

And as for the Blitz games themselves, the toxicity is no secret to anyone; the moment anything goes wrong, at least two people in the group will take it as license to shoot their mouths off about everything and anything (assuming they don’t immediately go afk)

Suffice to say, even having been over 2400 for several seasons now, the quality of the experience has decreased quite a bit.

TLDR: Disagree strongly. No one should have to put up with a toddler throwing a tantrum for multiple games due to the system insisting on grouping you together over and over.

If you really want a shot at your question being picked avoid the letters… PvP.

Has anyone posted something well structured that we can upvote?

I have a couple but if anyone else has some please post them.

ya it’s three questions but w/e.

That came down to basically “who can spend the most time grinding bgs for at least 11 hours a day and coordinate with other people in the range so they can let you get it.”

Thats because blitz is just kind of straight up better than rbgs. Easier to get into and the people who succeed are the ones who can think on their feet and adapt to any situation without any group coordination.

There also isn’t very much carrying go on in blitz as compared to rbgs just cause of the way its set up.

Thats why in the arena tournament a group thrown together of exclusively top solo shuffle players were able to compete with and even beat echo despite having probably until like 2-3 weeks ago never played with each other. And its because they are good at just adapting to things as they happen.

I’m giving a like to every PvP question I see in there.

I’m doing my part! lol

Had to throw in that… can you do something with wpvp question.

Wpvp has never changed there are just some like cringe outlier items that probably need to be disabled.

But even before nobody did wpvp cause it was just dominated by 100 player raids lagging everything out.

Faction balance also isn’t where it needs to be for wpvp and likely never will be just cause of player psychology.

It used to be some wpvp would happen and then which ever faction had more players would just run over the one with less with 80 players.

You saw that in classic wow where players on the less dominant faction were on this 300 men at the battle of Thermopylae roleplay but eventually you saw every single 1 of those servers become 1 faction dominant because being outnumbered 5 to 1 all the time isn’t a great experience and despite the blustering not 1 that many people are willing to put up with long term so eventually they just hop on the bandwagon.

Raids would also abuse sharding/phasing to split up the enemy raids so it’s 3 raids vs 1 it was cringe gameplay all the way around.

But in instanced PvP you don’t have to worry about a colossal numbers gap due to faction imbalance.

While I didn’t exactly time us, I can promise you, we did not play for more than 6 hours a week. As for your accusation of win trading – I hope you mean that as a VERY BROAD generalization, and it is not directed at my little group of beginners whom barely hit 2k (more than needed for the vanilla mogs ofc).

I agree, but the ease of access has allowed the more toxic elements to thrive. Civility has given way to instant aggression, and even a positive attitude is often met with extreme negativity when things don’t immediately go well.

Considering the half-hour rant Omnivore went on when I managed to enrage him a few weeks ago, I believe the self-described “Tournament Champion” would disagree with you. As would I.

Small dogs tend to bark the loudest, and no level of perceived skill excuses a lack of decorum.

It depended on your server I think.

On my server getting rank 14 was a guild effort, where the entire guild would run pretty much non stop WSG in a premade to get 1 guy the title, then rotate to the next in the list. They’d play for at least 16 hours a day, or even more. Obviously there were rumors of account sharing because playing 16+ hours a day for however many weeks it took was going to be really tough for a single person to do.

I’m talking fully BiS geared carefully coordinated teams on voice chat with the proper specs. You know the deal, 1 warrior, 2 paladins to heal him, a druid to carry the flag, some assorted DPS to kill, a main tank assist everyone would focus. Coordinated CC and movement.
They were brutal to play against. PUGs would always lose to them (duh) 0-3 as fast as it took their druid to run the flag. At least the matches were over quick.

The Classic rank 14 grind is baby steps in comparison. Sitting AFK in AV while watching Netflix on a second monitor and everyone can get it? Sure.

I’ve been reaching out to lots of people and these posts are getting a good amount of hearts! If you haven’t had a chance to go like/heart/vote, please dooo!

My suggestion for epic BGs is to remove epic BGs and concentrate on BGB style of BGs

Faster paced and 100X less laggy and much harder for losers to game the system by queue syncing

Ngl that’s gonna be a tough sell since they went out of their usual way by adding a new ebg in the expansion. :grimacing:
