You’re wrong, but I wish you were right.
It’s clear from the story and lack of exciting features for TWW that Metzen was super involved with stuff after TWW, TWW was already knee deep in dev once he came back.
I’m ready for this crappy expansion story to go bye bye. Oh boy, more underground stuff after dragonflights .1 patch was the least played in a while, with that zone being abandoned super quick.
Returning to the old world, with features like housing we begged years for, with a darker plot. Yes pls. Hell, can it be spring 2025?

Metzen said expect expansions to come a little faster and so many people took that as yearly.
