Bloomington, IL - frequent hiccups in connection. called metronet and they couldn’t figure it out.

My home Latency seems to be holding ~18-20, world still goes from 100-1k+

Connection seems to go back to normal (or dang close to it). Metronet actually gave me a call and explained to me what happened. Since I am not tech savvy, from the gist I got, the problem was one of the servers in the path of routing or something.
That problematic company or server is working on repairing the issue and in the mean time, Metronet temporarily re-rout the path.

Hopefully it stays stable. I had a hell of a time raiding last night. Apparently the healers made a game out of trying to keep me alive when I would have 30+ seconds of “Iunno what the hell is going on”
Edit: Still having some lag issues though in dungeons BGs. Definitely makes healing fun on my alt.

West Lafayette, Indiana on metronet checking in. I guess I’m glad it isn’t just me, because I was going insane trying to figure it out.

Funnily enough, I’m in West Lafayette. 
I was not a happy camper during the raid last night. Our new healer had a blast trying to keep me alive though. <.<
I see some who it appears might not be having it any longer but it is still just the same for me currently.
As a data point: still seeing packet loss/high latency to those 2 prefixes from Google I mentioned earlier. Now seeing connections to IPs in another prefix, 34.80.0.0/14, and those are also plagued by the packet loss/high latency 
Same thing here, last two days my usual 160 latency has gone up and stayed around 250-300… fix it fix it fix it fix it fix it… fix it.

We were fine in Tourgast. Went to start a key and our MS went from 12 to 400+! Got to love healing with that much lag. Krips had 2300MS so we did a M0 instead. HELP WE WANT TO GAME!
Yeah it acts up in dungeons, BGs, Arenas, but in the world it wasn’t so bad for me.
I just had the worst wow experience due to this extreme lag. It felt like it might be getting better, so I was invited to tank a mythic++ plaguefall. Big mistake to try to play the game. Screen freezing up for 10 seconds at a time makes mechanics like dodging tentacle slams impossible even after 90 minutes of trying. Completely unplayable and extremely frustrating if you try.

Yeah, that sounds like everyone experience that lives around Lafayette IN right now. Sort of sucks because a lot of people have time off from real life and are looking to game Guess there is tomorrow!
