For the past couple of hours, even though I stay connected to Blizzard server, my connection (latency) has been very unstable and a lot worse than normal.
As of right now, home = 100+ ms and world = 1500 ms.
Please help. Thanks.

Honestly the last two days my home latency is 17-19 and world latency is anywhere between 17-600 between 3-9pm. And right now the entire shard I’m on for bastion is all complaining about lag right this second.
It’s probably not you.
Yeah… I have same internet provider. Having same problems but my brother in the house apparently has no issues. Just downloaded the nvidia update and addons. Ran with no addons. As DH fel rushes don’t work. People freeze then catch up. Feels like I am going to DC but then I don’t. It’s insanely frustrating. Game is unplayable.
Same here. Just started happening an hour ago
World MS is anywhere between 1k-15k
Home MS stays at 32
I am going to test if I am lagging in other games but right now it just seems like its WoW.
Same provider, same issue. Glad I’m not raiding tonight.
I have the same provider and I’m having the same issue. I’m from the Midwest (Indianapolis area).
It started Tuesday I think for me. Raiding was pretty awful that day. This is pretty much making the game unplayable for me. Earlier today I had no issues, but around 3:30-4:00 PM it started up again and I’m still having the same issue right now.
I took the WinMTR stats and they are as follow. Seems like it’s on Blizzard’s side from what I see.

Lexington Metronet here. Same issues. First raid with a new guild tanking. Was not fun. Don’t think I caused any wipes though.
Has anyone reached out to Metronet? Whats the next step?
12/19/2020 update.
Higher than normal latency still exists. Please help. Thanks.
Same provider, same issues here. Torghast is almost unplayable.
Reached out to Metronet chat (Bloomington IL here) and they said they “don’t see anything wrong on their end.” However, when viewing downdetector, looks like the Chicago Fiber link for the eastern Midwest has severe issues.
Ran pathping - showing 16% packet loss at the destination (208.115.136.85, Blizzard’s side).
Ran tracert - showing significant jump in rtt (from 3-6ms jumps up to 14-15ms) followed by a request time out.
winMTR is showing about 19% packet loss
I’m running into the same issue still where there will just be random lag spikes. I keep running winMTR and it ranges from 15-20% packet loss.
The lag spikes themselves really vary. Sometimes it’s just a second or two, or a full blown 10 seconds or more.
Just ran a m0 hoping it would have improved by today, but still the same. Raid tonight isn’t going to be fun.
Same issue here in Davenport, Iowa on Metronet.
Getting 20-30% packet loss to the Blizz servers.
Same city, same internet provider. Terrible lag spikes and framerate. Just started happening this week.
Bloomington IL here on metronet also. When i swap to my phones att 4glte i get a steady 96/100 world home ping. but metronet is ranging from 50 to 4k… its ridicuous. is there anyway to get them aware of it or have it worked around and resolved?
You can call Metronet’s 24/7 support at 844-692-6184.
They are aware of the issue but are stating it’s not on their side. They can add you to the ticket though so you at least get some sort of notification when it’s resolved.

They give a generic “we’re working on it” in this twitter post, but I don’t think there is much they can do if its a problem with some server in the middle of the route from their servers to Blizzards.
