Orbit Culture might be the best in the world right now.
new Orbit Culture…its an ear worm in my head ever since i first heard it…
with Sam Carter from Architects digging it a lot
Jorn Lande has a great voice and an amazing range.
SiM are fantastic too. Found them just through a random recommendation on YT.
Avenged Sevenfold were one of the first metal bands I really got into. Bat Country is still one of the most played songs on my playlist.
Lord of the Lost - Raining Stars is one of my Favorite songs @_@
Also a lot of the time i find myself Listening to Older things. I like Fear Factory, Mushroom Head, Pantera, Lamb of God, Slayer, and a lot more. I like some new stuff too, but a lot of the new stuff doesnt sound as good as the old. But it also all depends. For giggles i love listening to the Metalocalypes songs. Who doesn’t Love Banana Stickers.
Screaming is pretty boring to me so I’m Not a huge fan of metal.
However I do blast this on and sing along when I would do my dailies
New Sabaton coming soon!
I do however suggest NOT playing this while gaming
I couldn’t stop rocking back and forth in my chair and I tried tanking mythic SoD on my own as a mage.
The power of Mick Gordon lol. His work on the killer instinct soundtrack is still great
Seriously. You could be doing the dishes and when this song comes on ITS THE MOST EPIC DISH WASHING
Wait …dio …do I spy a Jojo reference?
I’m the kind of nerd that generally likes to sync up music that I’m listening to to the character I’m playing. So last night I was listening to Black Metal while I played this Frost DK.
So pure. So cold.
Been playing to a lot of this lately, personally.
Heck I have playlists for my OCs so I get ya lol.
Made one for my Tiefling in DnD that I’m still pretty dang proud of. Just not sure I can link it here because soooooooome of the songs are. Well. Not forum friendly.
Dio, Maiden, Hammerfall, Falconer…lots and lots of power metal.
Every type. From Lacuna Coil and Nightwish to Rammstein and Cradle of Filth, and everything in between. I generally will swap genres, too. I can listen to many types of music and enjoy it. I don’t like new country, though. The extent of my country music is Johnny Cash and Southern Rock. Rap is generally a no-go for me, too. Unless it’s mashed-up with something epic.
Speaking of mash-ups, this one is one of my favorites:
