Who here listens to metal while playing?
What band do you listen to?
What Genre of metal?

A truly unique voice. He will be missed.
R.I.P Dio
That is just impressively epic. Thanks for sharing that one. I’m adding it to my playlist.
Sometimes I listen to Stoner Metal when I play; stuff like Electric Wizard and Dopelord.
Relatively recently I’ve more often been listening to Eternal Champion and their precursor Graven Rite.
Also Spaceslug, though I’m not sure how much of their work would technically fall under this category. Here’s a song from their debut album.
Should I get tired of dealing with ads on Youtube I also have my Holy Grove cd.
There are others but these are ones I listen to most often that I’m certain could be defined as Metal.
I imagine we must have quite a few metalheads who game. You’ve linked a few I haven’t heard before so this is a great chance to broaden my horizons
I enjoy thrash metal and heavy metal, old school bands like Manowar and Judas Priest. I also like the old Slayer, the new stuff is terrible.
I like all types of metal, though Death Metal can be a bit too cliche at times. My mainstay is heavy metal.
Saw Halford a few years ago on my birthday. I find it amazing he can still sing painkiller at his age. He has to do some funky diaphragm compression to make it happen but regardless it was impressive.
Not often because I’m usually doing things that require finesse and metal makes me want to move so I usually have a podcast on about something obscure and interesting but when I do it’s usually Meshugga, Cannibal Corpse or Cradle of Filth and Pantera
Here ya go and you’re welcome.
That’s a classic yeah. However I’ve come to prefer Killswitch Engages cover.
Can’t post links sadly but I’d say things like Amon Amarth, Emperor or Immortal
edit: oh I can post links :0
This right here is my all time favorite song. I’ve yet to come across one that clicks like this one does for me.
