Old thread, but a lot of what the Dreambound channel on YouTube puts out is what I’m on right now. I’m hardcore into anything melodic that’s electronic or instrumental. I could also link a hundred Buckethead tracks I enjoy, including his heavier stuff.

Seems like the older i get (56) the more extreme music i listen to. Still listen to mostly thrash, death and getting into some black. 9am and my playlist is already off and running starting with some Destruction.

Good tastes in virtuosos. Buckethead is my favorite, but I’d kill to see Rusty Cooley one day play Dark Matter live, even if he’d be pretty bad from lack of practice nowadays. ;3

I also like Steve Vai a fair bit.
