Metalheads In Wow

I am from a small town in Indiana and when I was younger the college there had one of the best radio stations around. Metal and Rock all day and night. :+1: :grinning:

Dug up my old Grave Digger HoD CD the other day.

Haven’t listened to these guys in yonks. Forgot how good they were and still are.

My actual first concert without a parent or other adult taking me was actually RATT’s Out of the Cellar tour .

My first concert was L.A Guns on their debut with AC/DC “Who Made Who” tour. I remember it pretty well since me and my uncle were there early and drinking in the parking-lot and Tracii Guns about ran into us on a skateboard lol.

College radio was the only thing worth listening to when I was growing up. There were two local “rock/hard rock” commercial stations but they didn’t play anything I wanted to hear. College radio shows from the local community college got me into metal and hardcore. Of course now you can just pull out your phone and be listening to whatever you want at any time from anywhere, which is great!

Yeah there is a lot of things I dislike about phones and the internet but some of the conveniences are really nice. :+1: :grinning:

What? I’ve gone deaf listening to Heavy Metal while playing WoW. Fyi, if you have to turn the speakers all the way up then it’s probably bad music.

Hmm i’m not sure what you are responding to here.

I’ve always thought you had to play it louder? All men play on 10?

Anyone here listen to Doom/Stoner metal while playing?

I don’t think I can post videos here yet, but metal is basically the only thing I listen to lol, mostly prog. I like A7X, Tool, SOAD, Metallica, that kind of thing.

Does Alice in Chains count?

More like Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Warning, Bon(g)ripper, Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, Etc.
The B word is not allowed, but the name is the name.

Check out The Sword for some newer stoner metal.

They sound a little too active to me tbh

More upbeat Sabbath than Electric wizard for sure.
