most people who listen to metal also listen to other types of music…i happen to also be really into movie scores, the more classical sounding stuff like Hans Zimmer, and also really like electronic music like Grendel or Xperiment or Solitary Experiments, or even game soundtracks like Mass Effect 2 and 3

Yeah that there is. I have been raised on every kind of music there is, from listening to Elvis with my dad and bands like the Scorpions and Brownsville Station with my brothers and uncle. My sons got me listening to some Eminem and Sturgill Simpson.
My ideal Industrial metal concert would be
KMFDM ,Rammstein and Ministry

In 50 + years I’ve developed an eclectic taste in music . Heck my 72 y.o. dad listens to Post Malone
This is more rock than metal, but I think it still fits here.

Rush is my all time favorite band which trail blazed heavy metal.
A bunch of their music is great to listen to and play WoW.
The drummer Neil Peart sadly died early this year of cancer.
One of the greatest rock drummers ever.

Just this week Howard Stern called up Lars Ulrich to ask who the greatest drummer of all time was. He said Neil Peart was 2nd only behind John Bonham.
Really? I don’t like watching him because of how he wiggles around all flamboyantly. Here is an acoustic version they did on Howard Stern and he’s just singing without acting stupid, and I think he has a great voice.
