Metalheads In Wow

Me too. Enya, assemblage 23, vnv nation, all get rocked out too in my car and truck. 11 and 8 year old have certain tracks on request depending on the drive. Love some classic rock, oldies, patsy Cline and Johnny cash.

But I will tear up some pantera, meshuggah or samael. Love being well rounded.

That’s pretty cool, but I don’t think I could listen to that more than once.

I still think kids dressed as hillbillies and covering Slayer for the meme stuff. However. Hillbillies and metal.

I don’t feel like the music is very silly though, just the video.

Worth the risk. Im sure GD is getting sick of me bumping this anyway.

Sharing good music with the uncultured, utterly abject unwashed masses of GD is our duty. Do not shy away from it :slightly_smiling_face:

I love music. Made the mistake of working at a books / music store for a few years in my 20s. Bad idea. They paid me just to turn around and spend it all on books and music. Always happy to hear a new band or see a new author.

Yeah, “real Black Metal” was just made up as an excuse for the tape recorder in the bathroom production, so they could sell albums. Of course the bands were much better live.

No more silly, more REAL Death Metal!

I always think that Death Knights are Death Metal and Demon Hunters are Black Metal.

Needs more Dethklok

Really enjoyed that show. That video is very flashy at the end, just a heads up.

This is comedy metal.

Yeah, is great, but was just a parody of Death Metal. You can make an orc that looks like Nathan though, lol.

I always thought it was a parody on a lot of metal tropes: the scandinavian guitarists, wanting to record in the deepest, most brutal, metal place in the world, the Mariana Treeeeeeeeeeeeeench (love that episode), etc.

But agreed; the music was definitely death metal.

Still one of my favorites of all time, got to see them live and got to talk to Jon (RIP) a bit on the way to the bar at this concert:
