oldie but a goodie
All I see is a bunch of people sharing bands that they like. Not everyone likes this sort of thing and thatâs understandable, doesnât mean everyone else is full of it.
If we were all arguing about whatâs objectively better then you might have a point. I happen to be of the opinion that black metal fans are some of the most socially inept losers on the planet, but I still enjoy a few bm tracks myself.
I gave metal the old college try because a guy I liked was super into i just just couldnât enjoy it oh well
Pay him no mind, heâs a pretty salty person in general.
A song from one of my favorite bands. Love their new stuff as well but this will always be my all-time favorite by them.
This is what a band called âInsane clown posseâ should really sound like. Also this is the scariest metal band that I have ever seen, nothing scares me more than clowns.
This band is a mystery to me⊠I canât find a single song that I like by them and I have no idea why. They donât sound too different from some other bands that I really like, but every time I have Spotify playing random songs and I find myself skipping a song, somehow itâs always these guys.
Not calling them a bad band, just confessing my confusion.
250 posts and no mention of DragonForce?
silent circus, self titled, great misdirect, and colors all day
I love how they are trolling Sabaton, Nightwish and Alestorm in their recent videos
Really cool to see some metalcore and post hardcore in this thread.

Famous Last Words
And hundreds more.
Rock on XXX
Bit timely in these pandemic times. Also cute pretty much all the rats I see in this video are girls. They tend to be the smarter rats so they get used in hollywood more than the lads.
Metallica, Lamb of God, Chimaira, Killswitch, etcâŠ
Folk Metal.
I donât know that Iâd call this my favorite song, I like too many different things to say that, I donât even think Iâd call this my favorite song by this band, but Iâve definitely called this my favorite âpiece of musicâ before. Like, specifically this segment. Itâs nothing super complex or amazing, but it just works really nicely. Love it.
Timestamped.
Homie knows whats up.
This fad annoys me tbh. Like, conceptually itâs fine. But like 90% of the âbardcoreâ versions of songs are super lazy and sound incredibly electronic despite trying to be medieval. Because theyâre just swapping instruments in the cheapest software they could find or something.
(the one you linked isnât too bad about it - the electronic sound - but I also donât know that Iâd say it sounds particularly medieval-ish)
