All I see is a bunch of people sharing bands that they like. Not everyone likes this sort of thing and that’s understandable, doesn’t mean everyone else is full of it.

If we were all arguing about what’s objectively better then you might have a point. I happen to be of the opinion that black metal fans are some of the most socially inept losers on the planet, but I still enjoy a few bm tracks myself.

A song from one of my favorite bands. Love their new stuff as well but this will always be my all-time favorite by them.

This is what a band called “Insane clown posse” should really sound like. Also this is the scariest metal band that I have ever seen, nothing scares me more than clowns.

This band is a mystery to me
 I can’t find a single song that I like by them and I have no idea why. They don’t sound too different from some other bands that I really like, but every time I have Spotify playing random songs and I find myself skipping a song, somehow it’s always these guys.

Not calling them a bad band, just confessing my confusion.

Folk Metal.

I don’t know that I’d call this my favorite song, I like too many different things to say that, I don’t even think I’d call this my favorite song by this band, but I’ve definitely called this my favorite “piece of music” before. Like, specifically this segment. It’s nothing super complex or amazing, but it just works really nicely. Love it.

This fad annoys me tbh. Like, conceptually it’s fine. But like 90% of the “bardcore” versions of songs are super lazy and sound incredibly electronic despite trying to be medieval. Because they’re just swapping instruments in the cheapest software they could find or something.

(the one you linked isn’t too bad about it - the electronic sound - but I also don’t know that I’d say it sounds particularly medieval-ish)
