classic era and sod both have mega servers with a 50/50 population that blizzard actively helps balance
Why are we not doing the same for Cata and MoP? In this modern gaming age it seems incredibly stupid to have the playerbase divided into multiple medium populated servers.
Nightslayer has 26k right now, Crusader Strike(SOD) was 25k often before ending announcement. And the capital cities are PACKED full of people, it’s awesome. It makes the servers look active and healthy
Stop dividing the playerbase, merge servers and add layers to help with lag

If people wanted to play on 50/50 population servers, they would be doing this. Grobbulus is full of transfers. At this point, there are very few players who have been here since 2019. Ask around, and it’s always the same story:
“I wanted world PvP, so I transferred here.”

The servers aren’t dead except for the ones Blizzard locked All the other servers are fine. If you feel the need to be on Omega server then pay for it Go to the mega server of your choice there’s two or three of them leave the rest of us alone.
I started playing in 04 on release day so not a zoomer and I can tell you merging servers is the way to go. Who wants to play a mono faction server? Or a dead server?
Most of us don’t, a vocal troll majority want it
