Merge BE/VE Non-Tentacle Hairstyles?

It probably will happen. But it’s happening too slow. We get fed tiny little scraps every 6 or so months. They could just end this whole thing and give us all we’re asking for now rather than keeping it going. They can end all the fighting by giving us the hair, the toggle, the voice reverb check, all of it, in just one patch. They can do it for season 4 and it’d be over.

This is for some part on purpose but there are so many (international) spinning wheels. And of course they have bigger priorities at the moment.

Doing it for the whiny blood elf babies? As if doing it slowly is going to do anything for them. Just draws it out for them as well, making them even angrier. If they ripped the bandaid off in the beginning then everyone would be over this right now.

High Elves are the race originator, yes.

However, they are NOT on the Horde.

They joined the Horde after completely renaming their people to be Blood Elves. The few who didn’t join the Horde for various reasons, retained the High Elf name, and they view themselves in game as two VERY different people.

Kind of like if Democrats v Republicans in a way.

The High Elves mostly joined the Alliance. But they in the lore are supposed to be rather small in number, like 90% of their people died, 8% became Blood Elves, 1% Became High Elves, and 1% ended up being Void Elves.

The Void Elves are technically the ONLY one that could be classified as coming close to being a different actual genetic variation. Due to the Blueberry Elves drastic Void Warping.

BUT when they gave the Blue Eyes to Void Elves and the Blue Eyes to the Blood Elves.

They said it was to represent the High Elves that are on the Alliance, along with the Void Elves.

The Blood Elves got the blue eyes back, with more teal/cyan tints, to represent the Sunwell being cleansed, and them losing their Fel Taint.

Doing it slowly, ensures more ppl come back each time they add more customizations into a patch. It’s also likely why say the Dratchyr have been t-ed up to get more classes down the road, just not at launch. To get more subs back in during that patch.

You are an asset for the developers. The angrier you are, the more you generate content, which results in more awareness/reads from the outside, which keeps on spreading across the internet. You already are caught in their spider web.

If you want to have faster changes, force a CC member to discuss the High Elves. But the group is literally handpicked to act as a pacified yes-sayer group with some expectations.

Making Drackthyr evoker only right now was the dumbest idea. They could have opened them to every class, gave their thalassian humanoid form blue glowing eyes if they are alliance, green if horde, and then allow them to perma be human form even in combat. And you know what, I think high elf players would have been cool with this. I would roll all my toons to Drackthyr for that. (Also they need to allow the removal of horns as well) I could just make do with that as a substitute for my high elf until we actually got them. But no, they had to go the worst route possible.

Alliance has a high elf army too. 7th legion has an army of high elves, Alleria had an army of high elves out in outlands or wherever the hell she was, and those were not changed. And also the silver covenant army of high elves.

The Alliance has actual canonical Elves that legitimately refer to themselves as High Elf, the Horde does not.

Notice how the only people calling Blood Elves, High Elves, are horde fan boys? When the game has never done this. It’s so sad for you to be so disrespectful to the Blood elf story by continuing to call them the name they left behind after their greatest tragedy.

Only one coping has been you, for about 3 years and counting now, how sad of a person you must be to be this much of a liar. :man_shrugging:

CLEARLY you haven’t played much of this game.

MOST of the 7th legion’s mages are High Elves and Half Elves. The Silver Covenant, is a WHOLE faction of Battlemages and Hunters, lead by Varessa Windrunner. Alleria also had a brigade of High Elves, who went to Outland with her. The City of Dalaran is MOSTLY composed of High Elven Citizens even. Some High Elves have even been confirmed by the Developers to have joined the Void Elves, and been a part of Umbric’s group.

There have always been High Elves on the Alliance, and EVERY major Alliance Event has dealt with, and had at least 1 of them present. The High Elves are also known to breed with Humans, and are the main reason for Half Elves like Arator. It’s also the inspiration for Kalec’s Visage Form.

BUT the High Elves are only 1% of the remaining Thalassian people, so they have been in the LORE vastly lower in number compared to the 8% the Blood Elves had (9% at the time of being added into the Horde), which is why we were told we wouldn’t get them playable on the Alliance, due to their lower numbers.

But again, the Blood Elves, no longer go by the name High Elf, and get offended when you call them that. Silvermoon and Quel’thelas is the home of the Blood Elves.

Dalaran City, and Stormwind are the homes of the High Elves.

Guess I win, since you never have a counter argument. :heartpulse:

And I’m actually a Dog, guess your eyes don’t work too well either.

lol i main alliance. im 2 levels from getting my kul tiran heritage armor unlocked. havent gotten a single quest from an alliance high elf or seen one. lmao. interacted with every other alliance race tho

You brought up the quest in MoP which proves you have which means you are lying.

i didnt go to thunder isle. literally their only quest chain in the game. did the mainland pandaria zones only

Well. You knew of the quest. So, you came upon the quest. Your own fault for not doing it. But it was there. You had every opportunity.

they have one quest and its about dalaran lmao. if thats not cope what is

What a joke. If you’ve been to Boralus, then you’ve seen the High Elven Portal maker of the 7th Legion. They are HEAVILY featured in the Arathi Warfront stuff as well.

But also, they’re walking all about Stormwind, Dalaran in Wrath & Legion, the Crystalsong Forest, Ice Crown, Theramore, and SEVERAL other locations.

Heck, Aleria and Varessa are TWO major LORE characters, and they and their factions of people, have ALWAYS been in the Alliance. I suggest you read some of the Lore Books, like Shadows Rising or Sylvanas to name some of the more recent ones.

I mean. It’s MoP. Why would they have a lot of stuff when MoP was its own thing? There really aren’t many racially motivated quests in MoP at all, aside from Pandaren stuff and things related to Garrosh.
