Blizz please merge bene and Faerlina Give us a real mega server at the same time bringing WORLD PVP back!!! If the kids dont like it then they can reroll on a PvE server they made the choice to roll on a PvP server.

Anyone who actually likes World PVP has no problem finding it on Faerlina…
They had free transfers between the servers for a couple of months some time during Wrath Classic.

No they never did they did do something for SoD but nothing for Classic!!!
Here’s why I think it won’t happen.
They know it’s how the players want it, and this group happens to be part of their pet target audience.
They won’t do anything to upset them because they know they’ll all just quit or reroll elsewhere as a demonstration of their power.

Blizz makes money off the xfers
On paper that is true; but,
What if that group I mentioned was more than making up for the income…

There would be no need for them to look for that revenue from xfers.
Blizz makes gold off WoW tokens most people just use gold to pay for there subs
but new accts? constantly being closed and reopened?
Who would be constantly opening new accts over and over? Generating a ton of cash as a result?
Just speculation. I have no concrete evidence to offer beyond that.
Blizzard has been talking about doing “something” with Cata servers, I won’t comment on my opinions but I haven’t seen it discussed here. They are talking on X of course, because that’s what they do now.
The SoD “mega server” thing was between this.
Yeah the fact is that the subs are dying in cata and blizz is finally realizng this now hopefully they learn from how bad cata is doing and give us Fresh TBC servers or something!!! and not release MOP!!!
I willing to bet MoP Mikes are a bigger demographic than Cata Carls.
They may as well just have skipped Cata and gone straight to MoP.
Cata is bad and Mop is even worse Cata and mop are not classic WoW - WoTLK is real CLASSIC.
Classic is everything before the new world

They’re going to chase their demographical whales and harpoon them no matter what.

How to kill the off alliance 101. Benediction already fell to medium pop, merging them will result in an exodus due to the horde population tilt.
If you want your 50/50 world pvp server, transfer or reroll to grob. Leave the other realms alone.

And by wrath these servers were well into 90% zone. They were 90%+ in tbcc really.
West coast had this issue way back…they organized a move to grobb that didn’t have it shoot to 75/25. Since those movers didn’t want to pay to have grobb be just like the server they left a month later lol.
Whitemane basically kept the horde that said we/they like 90%.
The usual Issues with merge.
Names. Players and guilds.
Who is the one that stays and keeps its names? And who is the one who seeing “name unavailable”…10+ times in rename pop up time.
Or…its 1 new server and both servers have to go to it. And as the clock strikes the hour, rush. A new minigame. See whose transfer processes faster to get the name(s).
Either option has another minigame. Name squatting. For fun or legit need. I know I await a service sale. The server moved to…has 3 level 1’s.
They’ll get deleted sales service day to have the transfers come in. they hold a name, that is is their function.
I can be patient. I had a name squatted since TBCC. I just needed human hunters in cata. It came in time.
Yeah, it was some time during Phase 2 TBC Classic that the big exodus of players happened, iirc.
I mean, that’s one thing, but anybody who claims to like WPVP while playing on the dominant faction of a completely lopsided server is simply lying (very well maybe to themselves).
Faerlina has great WPVP, but not so much for Horde players… (purely by choice, of course).
I know on whitemane alliance comes out to play. I roll horde there. and I’ve met alliance players there on TB runs quite a few times.
Our secret seems to be we don’t zerg the crap out of them. 4 allinace are out. quick guys…form up 40 players parties! We don’t do that much when I play.
See other pvp games have this issue. This is why in eve I laugh my butt off when pirates complain about lack of targers.
No crap they don’t have targets. Flying into a 15 person fleet who is camping unless you are bring your own fleet of 15 is not pvp.
Its stupidity. We jsut take a longer way and avoid that crap. Ill take a 1 on 1 or maybe 2 on 1 if stuck. I don’t fly into 15 on 1 lol.

And space marine 2 lol. Last night I was obligated to play wow to get 2 dungeons in for the last of the bonus packages on a leveler.
then I went back to Space marine 2. That alt is no rush…I’ll hammer out the 7 new bonuses now reset later this week as she closes in on 85 lol.
