Ah well there’s the answer for these people then lol.
Blizzard waited too long to address the issue in any way and now they are pretty much incapable of fixing it. I agree that it is a social issue, but blizz put their hand on the scale to help one faction over the other too often.
They did what the OG devs did, make gameplay stupidly easy for one faction and baby it until one faction pretty much died.
These devs nerfed BGs for Alliance already which caused many more people to roll Horde. Blizzard and the player base caused this problem and there’s no way to fix it.
Im suprised this thread is still alive rofl. Merc modes needs to be added. Long bg ques isnt going to balance factions out lmao. stupid argument
merc mode isnt going to delete alliance, alliance are already outnumbered by horde 99:1 on every server. The 10 players who switched from horde to alliance for bg ques are irrelevant to the equation. It’s ok, I guess everyone (including new players to tbc/wow) should have known bg ques for horde would be 1hr long. Dang I guess next Tbc Re-release I will roll alliance.
Merc mode probably won’t happen anyways because blizzard will just let pvp die just like in retail. It’s fine idc, TBC is already declining faster than I thought. RIP WoW.
Boomers are taking over and don’t care to gravitate towards ideas that will help entice new players.
It’s actually 55-45 overall - alliance players just dont play bgs.
Oh if that’s the case then merc mode should be added. Finally a boomer i can agree with.
even if a handful of players on retail use merc mode enough still use it that it negatively effects my play time as alliance.
I’ve been in a ton of games where there were only 1 or 2 alliance other than myself in there and the rest were horde. Then the horde start crying about how it’s not an easy win and then they give up and just sit afk in a graveyard.
I don’t want horde cry babies in my TBC BGs.
Yeah, when one faction is outnumbered another 100 to 1, yeah, you should have seen this coming.
There is already a solution in the game, and it’s called roll alliance. There ya go, problem solved.
This is a player created problem, and the players can fix it themselves, if they want. Giving horde instant bg queues just means that what few alliance players do remain will be gone overnight.
WOOOooooOOOOSH!
Some folks had no way of knowing. People like myself expected Alliance to be the overpopulated choice since that’s how I remembered it when “classic” was “retail.” I guess it’s my own fault, for not scouring every source of the internet for realm population predictions. You are so absurd. Let me throw your suggestions right back at you.
“You don’t like the solution? Just go to a different game if you don’t like it! There ya go problem solved.”
See how unhelpful, spiteful, and childish you are? You contribute nothing to this conversation or solution. Just kidding. What you say is true. I know on our classic server literally every alliance character was deleted to re-roll horde! “THE SKY IS FALLING!” yelled Chicken Little.
