ONE WAY faction transfers from Horde to Alliance is a MUCH better solution to the problem. Merc mode would cause the Alliance population to die off except maybe on Alliance dominated servers.

I play both factions at 70 and finding an Alliance premade takes a couple minutes. There are 0 Horde premades on my server and it is favored 65/35 Horde. The premades already are all Alliance. Merc queue would defeat your entire statement as well because Alliance premades would have the option to queue as Horde.
That’s just patently false. I’ve watched streamers do nothing but Horde premade for weeks now, until arenas opened. I’m sure there are some still out there.

This is the analogy, there are plenty of other food places around that will get you your meal much faster, but you don’t get to choose to order from that particular burger joint and then complain about the queue
This is what it’s like in literally any city in the US that’s popular so idk what this guy is on about with waiting ruining a buisness. Christ a random Starbucks in the Midwest has this issue.

Horde get what they deserve. The alliance will mass quit if they add merc mode.

Merc mode has been shown to make faction imbalance even worse. Why don’t they just make us all a homogenous faction with no counterpart since that’s clearly just what you want anyway.

It makes basic logical sense. People are only stifled (towards rolling horde over alliance) even partially by the fact of longer queue times. You take that away and the band-wagoning will get worse.
