Oh not to reply twice but for the record, I don’t enjoy mercing. I suppose I appreciate merc mode in a backwards sense - I like how it reduces people ahead of me in the queue, but I generally despise mercing myself. Tried it a couple times last week to satisfy my curiosity, and a few months ago to finish the IoC meta, but that’s about it. Feels dirty and awkward.

Even if win rates are 50/50, I’d rather wait longer and be who my toon actually is.

It sounds quite upsetting indeed. You should quit and make a point to Blizzard. Vote with your wallet! It’s the only way they’ll understand.

I did a lot of Bgs in Legion and BfA as Alliance. Didn’t see this from mercs.

It’s hard to read tone in a written response. I expect this thread to go like most other merc threads. Alliance saying it isn’t helping faction imbalance and horde defending it because it helps their queues. Round and round we go.

You sure don’t mind me when I’m on my Alliance toon.

Pretty sure Herc has a Rogue on both faction too.

Eh it’s just confirmation bias really. People just look for something that’s “different” and complain about it, when in reality it doesn’t matter.

Like when your teammate sucks, you wish they were mercing and be with the other guys.

Taking away merc mode won’t really affect your experience.

Petition them to help you stop your losing. If they don’t listen vote with your wallet!

hey alot of specs best minor is the blood and glory trait and that requires 15k -50k and 100k to complete.

and the alliance bonus is +50% from honor in BGs + 1min ques, cant pass that up when u need to farm that much honor.

I would say the Mercs are doing the heavy lifting in BGs since they are there to do nothing else but win as quickly and efficiently as possible.

however when i hear how alliance talk in BGs “man the horde always win, just gve up” they have to do something to get more PvPers back on there side its almost depressing as a merc hearing just how beat down the alliance are. followed by the “OMG we actually won, i love you all” its just sad.

Lol you’re odd, I’ve never said anything about winning or losing. I really don’t care about the devs, the community is the problem. All the easy mode Horde players make it an issue.

Mercs don’t do any heavy lifting. Again they are there because they are easy mode players, looking for the easy was out.

No, it’s on the Horde player base, they are the ones who screw up the balance. Because the are to weak minded to have anything other than easy mode PvP.

Until they stop stacking the Horde, there will never be faction balance in PvP.
