Memento of Tyrande

So, my guild has been farming BT for a year now, we picked up a few extra PUG’s to fill some spots in the raid. Memento of Tyrande FINALLY drops , and they give it to a pug warlock. I’m sitting here speechless.

Flash backs to hearing about the guild leader who gave the legendary Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury to a rouge over the two Hunters present

Apparently im supposed to know every trinket in the game even though I havent run that raid since it was current in real bc and op never said it was a heal trinket so ok what I said doesnt apply but I’m leaving the sentiment here for other scenarios where it does make sense

so what they have just as much right to it as you they ran with you they dont get left out for gear this is why they got rid of master loot because people like you cant stand to have someone else get something just because theyre not part of your super fancy guild

It’s literally a healer trinket? You serious?

Sounds like your guild kinda sucks, or at least whoever handles loot.
Did they say anything or just let everyone roll for it or what?

People like him are why we need master loot lol….

Goes off on a tirade with no idea what he’s talking about.

Are you having a laugh? It’s literally a healing trinket.

You know, Malfurion is really the most patient man in the universe, letting his crazy demon brother creep on his wife for something in excess of 10,000 years.

Retail players often have a mineminemineonlymine mentality I wouldn’t expect much sympathy unfortunately

Honestly doesn’t look like a bad Warlock trinket, if they still have mana issues in TBC.

This is a Wendy’s, Sir.

" Equip: [Increases healing done by up to 118 and damage done by up to 37 for all magical spells and effects.]
Equip: [Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec. (Proc chance: 10%, 50s cooldown)]"

Why is this bad a warlock got it? I get it has a major healer power but it also increases damage - and warlocks technically heal(themselves) and it increases their DPS. Warlocks are also mana hungry.

Because it’s a healer trinket and benefits the healer most as for mana issues all casters had mana issues back then and dps casters would use wands whilst they recovered mana to deal dps

How would a warlock win it then?

…it’s Burning Crusade Classic OPs guild gave the Warlock the Trinket

With everyone knowing about who drops what, it’s wild to me that people don’t use loot schedules in classic.

Yeah I’m wondering why it was given to a non-healer.

Same way one guild leader gave a rouge Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury a legendary bow over the two hunters in the Raid group years ago I’d assume

Because the one in charge of the loot should not have been in charge, obviously.
