Melee's mobility MUST be tuned down ASAP

There are so many gap-closers that MUST be tuned down/removed ASAP. Having zero counter-play to insane mobility that melees have in dragonflight is not fun. Any slow down abilities feel useless. Any mobility that ranged got is overshadowed by the ton of the gap-closers that are currently exist in the game. All that ranged classes got is hope that they can kill their melee opponents in one burst or else die…horribly

This is what happens when, in a talent tree revamp, you go “Let’s just put everything every class has ever gotten over the past 10 years in there and let the cards fall where they may.”

Problem is that those slows that you complain don’t work against melee, also don’t work for melee.

So melee can snare, but almost anyone has a means of escaping that snare. So melee constantly needs to be closing.

Slows, roots, knock-backs, stuns, disorients, and polymorphs are all not considered “counter-play”, no to mention using mobility of your own?

Disarms should gimp casters just like melee.

Something I find funny is that Wowhead’s DK guide still says that DKs are one of the slowest classes in the game, but with my talent choices I’m usually the fastest in my M+ groups after a wipe :rofl:

To say that it would annoy me if I lost that capability due to the whiny PvP community is a massive understatement …

In all seriousness though, they should do something about the 2 charges x 3 sec Divine Steed on a 45 sec recharge cause it feels bad.

Also Monk mobility > DH mobility.

I think warriors is the most mobile for PvP, what movement did they gain with the change?

Especially Paladins. I mean how come they can attack from horseback, doesn’t seem very fair…very…just…:upside_down_face:

FFXIV has its own separate spell book for all classes between PvE and PvP, it’s pretty dang amazing.

If WoW ever gets good devs again, they should look into it.

They’d remove PVP altogether rather than have to get into the coding to make that kind of change.

Yup. Trying to include both types of gameplay in class design just makes for a poor experience for everybody.

I noticed that depending on my War mode talent choices abilities get added/taken away from my hot bars when I enter/exit PvP zones.

maybe build on that?
