Melee/Ranged/Healer forced

It would make PvP so much more interesting. Instead double melee run all game against double caster which is straight toxic. Also super nerfing off healing.

if you think blizzard can be trusted to ever do an ounce of balancing work even compared to how the last 2 xpacs have gone when they write themselves the blank check of “game mode enforces the ‘right’ playstyle” you didn’t really pay any attention to overwatch’s decline

Not really.

You’d still have this issue into certain comps.

Off healing needs to be nerfed but certain hybrids need to keep some form of good off healing because it’s how they’re balanced defensively.

I agree with him personally but I understand it would be hard to convince players of this.

Its more of a “I wish they did this back in original TBC”

I genuinely can’t think of a time where queueing into a melee/ranged/x comp felt unfun. RPS, Jungle (sometimes), RMP, Thug etc always feel “fair” to me even if they’re busted that season.

Here’s a wilder take though. Add the glad mount to solo shuffle and essentially kill pre made 3s for good?

Idk if I even want that myself but it would be interesting to see the “standard” method of play be changed up and leave premade for R1/AWC

The whole point of this video game is premade teamplay not lone wolf solo pvp

that would be really sad

the team/comp synergy is what makes the game engaging

i’m all for a tool to get people into games instantly and a tool that lets me play games whenever
but if it at all impedes on real 3’s it’s a serious loss for everyone

Def not into removing comp diversity in this way.

Closest I’d get would be maybe class stacking. But that’s usually not ideal anyway.

For now, I’m sad about it and I think the depth this game has will be gone for good but I can see the future of soloq wow and homogenized classes

I dont see homogenized classes when I look at the new DF talents/classes and such.

If anything classes were pretty homogenized in legion/bfa but since then they’ve taken steps away from that.

Nah it will happen when their stats see all the soloq participation out of context because you can q up whenever and go gee there’s no enhance shamans time to give them a mortal strike and disarm like everyone else. It will snowball

I imagine shuffle is going to be popular enough just by virtue of being accessible solo that they wouldn’t need to put the normal 3v3 mount into it, although an alternative would be nice. Maybe something for 2v2 as well.

It is weird how everything has MS now, even if some are a little different. Grapple having same duration/cd as dismantle and disarm is also weird considering it’ll go through stuff, although maybe it’s because it’s somewhat telegraphed.

I hope they implement visibility on how short queues are for healers to make people more interested in diversifying

Wonder if they could split rewards up to boost overall play? Mount from 3s tabard 2s weapon tint soloq? Anything they add would make people whine but idk I’d deff push all 3

Yeah, it’s going to be a cool opportunity to learn due to lack of attachment.

Possibly. Just an armored mount at 50 wins past 2400 in 2v2/shuffle (or 2700) might be cool, though. Maybe that’s too many unique things each season, but incentives are nice. Maybe a vicious mount with extra lights and spikes.
