Because you posted that 1 ss as I wrote that…

Spamming drain life isn’t a 1 shot… you can interrupt it, that one tick won’t kill you.

It’s not a “1 shot” per se, but it is pretty outrageous! When it happened to me i was like… :eyes::interrobang:

And good teams don’t let these casts off. CB/gpyro/etc… I have never seen a 100k cb in the over 400 BGs I have done. Checking out his armory, he has over 60% mastery and under 10% haste. That would make CB something like a 3 second cast… no ty

Sometimes it just happens. I’m not saying it should be changed, just that i wasn’t expecting ( i think i was hit for 104k) it.

Do you folks ever notice that when melee express dissent, they’re referring to larger scale situations and when ranged express dissent, they’re referring to the smaller scale fights?

I definitely feel as though I have an edge in 1v1 and the like, but melee as a whole suffers a lot in tarren mill v. southshore type fights. The more players involved, the worse we do.

Sounds about right. When i was doing TM/SS the melee guys that were the most successful were the ones hanging in the mob and then killing the other melee that mongoed in.

I think it’s just the nature of perspective. On a melee you need to be close, and when you can’t it can be frustrating. On the other hand, as ranged it can feel hopeless getting any space when someone is sitting on you.

Here is the Lock that did the 100k+ CB… nothing crazy like gear or traits just a LOT of Mastery stacked, something I warned would happen when they make stats matter… this is the game play people wanted, right? :joy:

Sure if melee range is cut from 8 yards to 1 yard, and roots and snares prevent charge and leap.

Kinda wierd. I can stand in the center of my RoF and melee can hit me from the outside.
