Megathread: The Other Half of the Dragon Fantasy - DRAKONIDS

I don’t even understand what argument you are making here.

I’ll make it plain and simple for you, blizzard ALREADY spent and invested money into the new race to pull people to the new expansion. That already happened, they have literally 0 incentive to do it again because you want a different version/model (which also wouldn’t be consistent with current lore, Dracthyr are not Drakonid)

Additionally any development time that WILL go into the race they already stated, they are going to make more playable classes as Dracthyr.

They have no reason to not make Tuskarr playable first, or even Ogres as you stated. I see no path in which we see playable Drakonid.

Why make it plain and simple for me if you’re the one having trouble following the discussion?

Really hope Blizz adds them. If they end up being an allied race, would make one so quickly, if not, would pay to race change one of my characters to one so quickly.

It did? If that was their vision maybe they need glasses.

You didn’t even reply to a single thing I said, or even attempt to do so, you have no argument or ways to address my points at least be honest.

Because you’re talking nonsense as you’re arguing against points that were never made.

I, for one, support the implementation of playable Drakonid beefcakes in parallel to our current Dracthyr twinks. The balance must be restored.

I’d roll one and race change several.

Reread my post I give you all the reasons why blizzard isn’t going to do it, you won’t and can’t engage because you know I’m right

You gave one. And posed it as a question. To which I answered no.

Here I will repeat them again:

-Blizzard already spent time in development making a “dragon” playable race, its called Dracthyr, and was a big selling point in the expansion
-They will develop a WHOLE NEW RACE like Tuskarr/Ogres before we ever see yet another playable dragon
-Blizzard themselves stated they will be bringing Dracthyr to more classes than just evoker, so yet again another reason why they won’t spend time on another dragon model

There are 3 simple clearcut reasons why your dreams will never come to fruition, address them or choose to live with your head stuck in the sand, up to you

1 and 2 are disproven by the existence of Allied Races. 3 is just flat out wrong - in fact, they said the opposite.

Those are dragons, seriously they are dragons, actually there is no Dragon fantasy now, only the expansion, the Drachktyr are not dragons, they don’t exist.

That would be the true dragons of WoW.

The existence of allied races has nothing to do with blizzard not spending double development time/resources on a race they already made, the dragon race we have now.
Idk why you are even bringing up allied races that makes no sense. Could I see them making wingless dracthyr as a customization option? Sure its possible, but thats about all you’re gonna get.

Secondarily blizzard did absolutely state they are planning on adding other classes to dracthyr later on, just not at the start of the expansion (said they wanted evoker only for now) This is all fact you can Google it yourself.

Night Elves exist. Why were Blood Elves, Nightbourne, or Void Elves added if we already have Elves? Why were Mag’har added if we have Orcs? Zandalari if we have Trolls?

And they specifically state that there are no plans to add more classes. I mean, have you Googled it? Apparently not.

First of all you’re acting like 3 months into an expansion blizzard is thinking about allied races lol, I got news for you bud they abandoned that whole idea. They were poorly executed mostly, shoddy skeleton swaps that still don’t even get racials updated for the new expansion (mechagnome/nightbourne)

If you want poorly done skeleton swaps of dracthyr its not gonna be a dragon it’d probably be arrakoa or something else new.

You act like players don’t absolutely LOVE elves and orcs, almost nobody even plays dracthyr after the initial interest wore off everyone went back to what they like, not dragons. Additionally go look at the forums people ARE STILL asking for more elves.

You’re just mad because you didn’t get the ideal dragon you imagined in your mind, sorry but you’re a scaled chickenhawk, get used to it.

Simply, you are outnumbered, by elf players, and furrys. You scaleys are down bad I feel pity for you.

Wow I like the look of those. That would be neat to play as.

I know, right? I could easily see a group breaking off from the Valdrakken Accord to more durectky involve themselves in the affairs of mortals once the Aspects get their mojo back.

Eh, both are draconic. They just represent two elements of the same whole, since getting that whole concept playable would be giving us playable dragons outright, which they seem reluctant to do.

I don’t know what they are, but they are not draconics, they are just lizards with wings.
