Sounds like you ran from PvP
I wouldnt call 10 vs 1 pvpā¦
Alliance ran from 52/48 ratio servers.
Uhh when was skeram ever evenly balanced?
Idk about skeram i was on Stalagg and it was pretty balanced.
It was very balanced in the beginning. Just the alliance coalition was ran by a couple guilds so the worse guilds like IE. Nexus left to be big dogs on a dead horde server like heartseeker
Iāve only ever seen evidence of the opposite
I played there since launch, never had an issue farming in the open world or going into an instance or farming horde. The balance never mattered until the alliance that couldnāt get world bosses left.
I believe most of the servers never touched ratios like 90/10 until Blizzard allowed the free xfers so people didnt have ques.
This is what destroyed servers.
It also allowed servers to be heavily favored by a faction, Stalagg became 99% Horde and Heartseeker became 99% Alliance.
So sure i āranā from pvp, but 9 alliance for every 1 horde isnt really pvp.
you are such a joke Bigtime and know nothing lol. I was apart of the original griefing on the server with Meme and crew. You attempt to do it and are terrible at it and only kill AFK people or when you LOGGOUT CAMPED ME FOR 3 DAYS and killed me on my load in screen like what lol. You are the biggest joke on this server literally everyone memes you. And no I donāt cry about griefers or losing world buffs. When you killed me I got all my world buffs back within an hour so you wasted 3 days of your life to make me waste an hour. Actual moron.
What are you talking about. Skeram was never balanced. Skeram was at best 60:40 during p1 leveling and it only went downhill from there.
I agree, and Iāve said this repeatedly. But I donāt see how this is a justification for not allowing a merger.
Cuz all mergers do is destroy servers.
Let players pay if they want to xfer, its far less toxic to a server.
On September 14th, 2019, before there were any transfers off Skeram. Stalagg was about 70/30 and Skeram was about 65/35. They were the two most imbalanced servers in NA.

Anyone who claims Skeram was balanced at launch is a liar. I would bet money that Stalagg was the same, if not worse. So stop the BS.
And look what it created.
Now stalagg, heartseeker and Skeram are all trashed.

There were a dozen servers that had transfers, the vast majority donāt have problems, and Heartseeker could have been fixed 1.5 years ago merely by leaving transfers open from Skeram/Stalagg to Heartseeker. They offered free transfers off Incendius, and while Incendius is now trashed, the two main servers they transferred to, Earthfury and Netherwind, are just fine.

There hasnāt been a single merger in Classic. And who honestly believes a Skeram/Heartseeker would do anything other than prevent the two servers from dying? It wonāt actually disrupt āthe communityā since there are no alliance on Skeram, and no horde on Heartseeker. They wonāt notice any change other than more of the opposite faction.
With that said, Iām not an advocate for a merger, but you guys are being ridiculous and dishonest. Iām pretty sick of this thread. I feel like Iāve repeated myself a hundred times and you people continue to make the same false and misleading claims.
Yea you should prolly get back to playing on your dead server instead of wasting time on the forums.
Come to Whitemane its a great server, you gotta pay that 25 bucks tho!
Yeah āvery balancedā is a gross mischaracterization at best. āNever had an issue farming or going into an instanceā is absurd on its face. The stats you linked, at the very least, comport to my recollections of p1. Attrition brought on by p2 brought the population down to around 25-30% Alliance, at which point the Alliance guilds collectively determined to leave to Incendius.
Yep, thatās the history. BTW, Incendius was great for about two weeks. I think the server was around 45:55 Alliance favored, which is reasonable balance. What killed the server was queue times induced by the mass transfer, leading to the Netherwind (Alliance) and Earthfury (Horde) exodus.
I really think that the free xfers ruined a lot of servers.
They shouldnt offer them and just allow paid xfers, alot less toxic for the game.
Honestly, I think a lot of these server issues could have been avoided if they hadnāt messed up the launch. Youāre right though, the free transfers just made things worse.
t. Blizzard mismanaged the start of Classic.
They for sure underestimated how popular it would be.
They even had the fix to that tho, all they had to do was add more layers.
Whitemane was layered even after they dropped layering on most servers and it removed the 6 hour ques we would have.
