FWIW, not that it’s much help, but you can just type /reload to reset the WQ. Took me about 6 resets to get one without jumping.
This world daily quest is still broken…every time NPC tells you to jump into the vat and jump it fails over and over …fix the dang thing will you.
42 attempts, and RNG finally allowed me to finish this without the stupid “jump in vat” request. This is seriously problematic. Just make it to where Vintner Iltheux never goes in combat. Simples.
Yeah, still can’t do this quest without waiting for the non jumping variant of it…Ive been trying for 30mins now and no luck. Why is it this has been reported in game, on reddit, on wowhead and on the forums all the way back in JANUARY, but nothing has been done…

Yeah, they have plenty of times to fix it during their reset day and they’ve had plenty of those since January! Still bugged as of today 05/24/2020
it’s the same issue for me. but i figured it out. the real bugged part is when u jump on the vat. so basically whenever he asks to jump on it, just sit still and wait for it to get soured then do it again. keep retrying until he doesn’t ask to jump on the vat.

It’s been bugged this long and still is…that’s rather disappointing. The evidence is mounting that blizzard doesn’t actually care anymore.

August 8 2020. Still broken! Submitted a ticket in-game. Who knows. probably never going to be fixed
Finally fixed after 8+ months. Impressive considering their track record lead me to believe this was gonna persist well into the 2nd Year mark.
