"Meet Arator" Quest help (bug?)

Hello,

I believe I accidently abandoned a quest I needed to start the TWW. Now I cannot get to Arator.
The portal it’s telling me to travel to Dornogal with, is not in Org. The waypoint is directly pointing to where the portal should be, but the platform has no orb.
A mage was kind enough to tele me to Dorn, but i’m out in the capital, unable to reach the little island to meet Arator. Someone please help, I’ve tried to reset the UI, cache, WTF files.. I’ve tried to search up and down but have had no luck.

That questline leads you to the new zone that was introduced with Season 3 and the newest major content patch.

Is that the content you’re trying to access, or are you trying to start TWW?

I’m just trying to get back to the beginning of TWW.

Is this on your level 80 Blood Elf Paladin, Bigwilly? Oddly enough, it looks like you still have the quest in progress.

Have you tried talking to Arator in Dornogal?

Those are different quests. It looks like you started the War Within intro quest line and are currently on: The Bronzebeard Family.

You’ll want to go to the Chamber of the Guardian, Moira is down there, make sure you have low level tracking on.

That’s likely why you can’t fly there yet. Complete the intro quests up through Adventuring in Khaz Algar.

I apologize, Vrakthris. I assumed that TWW within would be my level (80). If where “Meet arator” is where I need to playthrough to work on my gear, I would like to start there.

He may not show up if you are part way through the intro. Try completing those, picking up the Bronzebeard Family in the Chamber of the Guardian in the Legion version of Dalaran and that should put you back on track.

Glad to help. It can get a little confusing late in an expansion because you have various story phases competing in an area since the later chapters are sometimes all available at once.

I am having this problem. I have the “Meet Arator” and “The Great Vault” but there is no Dornagal portal in Org. I had started the Tome of HIstory for War Within, but exited for pre-patch because it said I could pick up where I left off, but now the Tome just offers an explanation of what a Recap is and nothing else and there’s nothing in the Adventure Guide. I went to Aszura and flew to Legion Dalaran and there’s nobody in the Guardian Chamber to give me Bronzebeard Family. Starting to feel like wasted time coming back to this game and buying Midnight.

Could you please provide the name-realm of the retail character you’re trying this on? You’re posting on a classic character and we can’t use that to our assistance.

Which part of the campaign are you attempting to resume, and what is the name-realm of the character you’re playing them on? Your posting character is not high enough level to do TWW yet.

Hello - I am having the EXACT same issue (no portal in Org) on this quest line. I have been searching for an answer for hours and am extremely frustrated. Please advise or fix.

Yes, it’s that character.

You did complete the Recap so the portal should be present… is this a Remix character?

Is it possible you still have Broken Shore phasing outside Org’s main gate that might be affecting you?

No, from what I’m seeing online about what a Remix character is, she’s not that. She’s an old toon that I had from playing 10+ years ago that they just found and ported over for me, so maybe it has something to do with that?

I’m not sure what you mean about the Broken Shore phasing. Can you tell me how to check that? TIA!

Outside the main gate of Orgrimmar there will be a funeral gathering or procession of sorts, Sylvanas will be standing on an elevated platform, a bunch of trolls and a few demon hunter NPCs will be milling about.

You may need to enable low-level quest tracking via the binoculars on your minimap.

I am not seeing anything like that. I’ve got no one outside the main gates. (That’s with viewing low-level quests enabled.)
