Mechagon Only as Mythic?

I honestly don’t understand why Mechagon is a Mythic only instance. It makes it near impossible for solo players who can only do instances from LFG to get in. I know somebody is going to do the “boo hoo” comments, if anybody comments at all. But I just felt I wanted to say something.

You’re in a guild, do it with them. There’s no timer even if you wanted one right now. I’ve heard estimates of 1 hour to close to 2 hours for some groups. Settle in and enjoy.

Despite Blizzard’s effort, WoW is still a multiplayer game. Group up with people or wait until they put the dungeon in the queue like they did in the past, possible for the next season.

It’s not impossible, but it could take a minimum of 15 minutes for a damage dealer to find a group. You can still be a “solo player” and use the group finder tool.

I’m the GM of a guild that since Cata has had 2 maybe 3 active members at any time.
I do appreciate the lack of criticism though. :slight_smile:

Worse is that it’s a dungeon 100% obsoleted in week 2. It’s a one-week-only experience :wink:

I’m totally skipping it until it becomes M+, then it will be worth learning. Also, as a tank, I take a long while to learn a dungeon - by the time I learn this one, I won’t run it since the rewards will be less than M+7.

I agree with the OP. I can’t get into a group because people are snobs about iLVL. Mine’s around 380 and I get passed on all the time.

tbh at 380 thats really low and that is why youre going to get passed on all the time. Especially this place no one will look at you at 380 because everything in here hits like a truck that is pissed off. its not about always being a snob about ilvl though, when 35 dps all queue up and 90% of them are 400 or higher, why would they take someone at 380?

You’re better off running +2 keystones atm.

hoping to get in when 25 ilvl lower , in an unorganized pug is quite ambitious… especially when the new nazjatar stuff give you a ton of ilvl 400+ freebies.

Let’s not exaggerate you don’t get a “ton of ilvl 400+ freebies”

You get like, one? The rest is 385. And anything beyond that requires a grind.

or just doing the dailies in the zone, which you probably did for flying / essence for the past 2 week, netting you 150+ mana pearl if not 200, which translate to 6-8 piece (and you can target which slot you want).

yeah… that’s pretty free.

Oh brother. You cannot do it from dailies alone. You HAVE to kill a bunch of rares each day and that IS quite a grind.

Besides you can go straight into +2 M and get way better gear for less work. I prefer doing +2 keystones, easier, less tedious, better item levels.

my 3 alt who did nothing but the bare minimum to unlock revered essence yet still have 150 mana pearl disagree. I don’t know how you something can be any easier than doing dailies.

that’s 2 week of dailies at… 40 minute? to complete the dailies in the zone. closer to 20 min after the main guy unlocked flying.

I’ve seen casual joes spend 10X that chasing rare in mechagon.

Be ready to tank a lot of keys learning, the mechanics are all super unforgiving

I think some missed my point, and I probably didn’t explain myself very well. My point is making instances Mythic ONLY, or whatever. That restricts things a lot for casual and not-really-confident players.
For me, I don’t think or react fast enough, so get lost and confused in instances, mostly because these days tanks, in particular, (in LFG) just run off and leave everyone else to try and keep up.
That part is just a gripe on my part. :/:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

If you wouldn’t mind dealing with a Veng tank that has yet to run it…

Would need to dig up a healer and DPS.
Prob won’t be free until Sunday and Monday nights, though.
