Mechagnomes look disgusting

Just speaking for myself, but I don’t like regular gnomes at all but plan to make at least one mechagnome. I’ve got my hunter’s name saved already too and ready to go.

Nothing wrong with everyone having opinions, but man I really wish people would stop being so nasty and matter of fact like their opinion is the only one and they are correct. I also wish the people who say “we” like they speak for everyone would stop too, it’s a bit immature to say it like that.
Also, I don’t see the diaper look some people claim they see, so whatever.

And you are being rude while we all try to find an alternative to a very common complaint because…?

Ask for the Alliance to be more interesting then. Instead of advocating for more strained and boring hogwash like Helves or Wildhammers.

But then when the Alliance are written as doing bad things, their playerbase melts down.

What is Blizzard supposed to do?

There can’t be a negative amount of people. You are mathematically incorrect.

I’m rude? Have you all looked in the mirror?

You all complain and throw a tantrum like Children, and repeat your memes and mantras all because the Alliance got an allied race that you specifically didn’t like, despite plenty of others wanting them.

I don’t like High Elves, or Memehammer. But if they got added to the game, I’m not going to relentlessly complain that they got added.

I don’t know if you read my replies or not, but I didn’t complain they got added to the game, I am simply asking for a little bit more customization so that mechagnome players can enjoy transmog, like every other race in this game. Because right now the only parts they do get to transmog are chest, shoulders and helm.

“Interesting,” is subjective. For some people, they find the Alliance’s roots in races like Wildhammers and Helves to be interesting. Others think races that are connected to Alliance races, like Vykrul or Krokul, are interesting.

Did you actually read what I wrote or did you just jump to conclusions?

I’m upset Gnomes didn’t get more. They deserve actual lore, more love, better customization. Not an Allied Race that’ll get treated separately, ignored all the same and still be under-loved and forgotten. If you like them, that’s cool! For real, that’s fine.

But Gnomes and Gnome players are consistently left behind and forgotten about. Shoving an Allied Race that’ll just be as forgotten and ignored as the other Allied Races have been… isn’t really giving them much. At all. That’s my complaint about them.

Oh their they are! The magical four! Helves, Wildhammer, Krokul and Vrykul!

Tell me, who came up with this magical combination I hear so much about? Who in the helfer community made it up?

You advocate for it, to make your support for Helves seem better. I’m glad they gave us Dark Elves and the Dawi Zhar instead.

Mechatorque is leading both people. Having two cultures of a people is only adding to them. They’re both on the same faction, and are the same people.

That’s cool. So Mechagnomes are just getting absorbed into the current Gnomes and will be treated the same, then?

If it works out, that’s great. But I’m strongly suspecting it’s going to have the exact same impact, say, Highmountain Tauren have. They appear, they assimilate, and then you don’t see anything else of them. Story wise or lore wise, they don’t do much else. At most, we’ll probably see NPCs of them assorted around.

If this all works out and Gnomes in general more love, that’d be great. I’d love to be wrong and have Gnomes get more lore and more screen time. As it stands, I find it hard to believe this is going to change much. I still feel like it could’ve things added to the already playable Gnomes, but to be fair, I feel like most of the Allied Races should’ve been cosmetic options.

Lol, this is some serious next level mental gymnastics. People have been asking for those four races since each appeared in the game.

Uh huh. I know a forced meme when I see one.

You should stop looking in the mirror so often then.

I’m a person, not a meme. I can’t see an idea in the mirror.

You should look up some of the interviews people who became memes have said then. People can be memes. You come across as one very easily.

Coming from a helfer that’s rich.

I support helves because their addition signifies the next wave of ARs, which is when I can get my hopes up for Wildhammers again. There isn’t much hope until we see some repeats, and knowing Blizz, they’ll put elves up front and center again. Too much money not to.

People could write case studies off the collective helfer denial of Ion’s words.

Or, more useful, case studies on the strange behavior of people like yourself who seem so keen to deny others something they want for no real discernible reason. Honestly, it’s a piece psychologists everywhere would benefit from reading.

You’ve been told no. All we’re telling you, is to accept it.

Reading comprehension isn’t your thing, is it?

  1. I’m here for Wildhammers. I’m waiting for Helves so I know I can hope for them again. As far as I know, the last word on Wildhammers was that the art team was coming up with concepts.

  2. Ion’s last words on the topic was, “anything is possible in the future.” Not sure how that translates to, “No.”
