Honestly though, Mechagon is my favourite zone in all of BfA. Tech, Gnomes, Goblins, explosions, engine grease, time-travel, etcā€¦ Hands down just fun all around.

Plus ya gots Mechagnomes outta the deal, anā€™ thatā€™s awesome. All we Horde got was Vulpera. Pffft. Not even a single piece of tech more advanced than a caravan wheel.

Fel goblins would be right up your ally then. Whereas gilgoblins are the extra nice touch on goblins, fel goblins would amp up goblin crookedness to the max and probably be more cold and calculating.

We will happily trade some of our technological advances, however, a split is out of the question. There is no plunder to be had. It was our home and is now again. I understand that Gazlowe and the Horde assisted us immensely and we thank you for that.

Iā€™m sure we can work out some form of an exchange of ideas and sharing of our mechanization capabilities. I suspect goblin biology would work well for it. I am also curious how we might adapt goblin ingenuity to our own designs.

Mm.

I have a bit of a deep-seated mistrust of goblins, but they were helpful in Mechagon and there is some overlap of our respective engineering approaches.

I suppose that if Prince Erasmin was willing to work with them, I should be too. I suppose.

You know, a few of these Mechagnomes are more than willing to trade for the right price even outside Mechagon. Bondos Yard is a good place to start.

Hello! So, my stupid player finally got around to getting my gear back from the Item Restoration service. Yay for hexweave bags, he had me using those little brown bags that you get for a couple of silver at low-level town merchants.

So Iā€™m fully back now. Well, as fully as I was before he ā€œaccidentallyā€ deleted me.

Oooooom, Iā€™mtotallyzenandnotfrustratedwithhimatall, ooooooom.

I see you guys heard about what happened to Derbert. Poor guy. And I see youā€™ve met Derbert 2.0. One of these days my player will just standardize on one of us for forum posting. Anything my excellent mechabrothers and mechasisters (and, sure, you goblins I suppose) can do to convince him Iā€™m the one would be great.

So yeah. Things are back where they should be with old Morty.

Hey itā€™s your favorite orc checking this cringy thread to see how long I can take it lol.

Edit: /shutter ugh not very long

Wonderful ecstatic news Mortymer!

Regrettable but at least Derbert lives on in Derbert 2.0. Iā€™m sure he will prove every bit as capable!

Excellent, I have some schematics to show you. I updated the frame of my D.A.W.G. unit to allow for a soul to be implanted and utilize a synthetic chi flow energy system to further advance my drones capabilities in combat.

You guys make me wanna create a Mechagnome, im currently Revered with Rustbolt and a a smudge into it toward exalted, how long does it take to get exalted from Revered typically?

Depends on what youā€™re doing but a week or two I would imagine.

Do the main WQ there for sure as it will get you most of your rep, otherwise focus on the dailies and hit up some rares. The rares wonā€™t give you rep but the scrap is helpful for some daily quests.

Mechagon rep is arguably the fastest to generate in BFA.

Thanks for the tip! How you digging the Mecha Hunter? That was the class I was considering, or perhaps a warrior.

I rather enjoy hunters in general, but the mecha (beast) master matrix is very synergetic with mechagnome racials.

Itā€™s a good strong class for any aspiring mechagnome.

Plus with the 100%xp boost currently going its the best time to get a mechagnome up to speed.

I found Mechagon rep to be one of the fastest in BFA, especially since you can do it every day and not have to wait for an emissary to get a good chunk. Iā€™m still 3.5k from Vulpera Exalted, and Iā€™ve been working on that for a while.

ā€¦

Iā€™m not so sure that I approve of this. It sounds like something Rosie would attempt. Not that I begrudge her interests, theyā€™re just not for me.

Now you have my interest.

I will admit, Rosie is the one who gave me the idea. Her work with Fel is quite extensive and well documented. In fact I have used many concepts she has outlined in the construction of my replica Titanforge.

If it helps the soul I am implanting is Hatiā€™s or at least an aspect of Hati that was shattered when Titanstrikeā€™s energy was used to contain the power within Sargerasā€™ Sword. This will give Hati a new lease on life within a mechanized body, one that I have been tinkering with for years to make it the best and most advanced D.A.W.G. model yet. With Hatiā€™s soul within it, it would finally be not only tied once again to myself but also have the freewill it has thus far been lacking.

It was our talk earlier that gave me the idea. I suspected that if something that has never been alive and thus does not have a soul cannot utilize chi, then one can make a system to capture and hold a soul within a metal body and, as long as one creates a system to cater to it, can then utilize the chi within its soul to further enhance its capabilities.

The marrying of Mechagnome technology, Fel concepts, and Chi should be quite the interesting creation.

Hmm.

One one hand, this seems to be going too far and I have a sneaking suspicion that the Masters of the order would consider it an abominationā€¦ yet they also instruct undead monks, and Iā€™d be lying if I said my gnomish roots werenā€™t amazingly interested in your work.

Edit: speaking of undeadā€¦ have you considered transferring the spirit from an undead body to a fully mechanized construct with a synthetic chi system?

Iā€™m interested. Talk to me.
