I am planning to race change my holy priest to mechagnome and sent her to Bastion for the angel wings and general vibes of the zone. This will probably be as close as I can get to my dream of a mechagnome paladin.
This got me wondering about mechagnomes and the Shadowlands. I really do not know what the more science and technology-focused races like mechagnomes (or regular gnomes and goblins) think about the afterlife. None of the new zones really represent their cultural themes or aesthetics. I wonder if we will see any gnome or goblin presence at all in the Shadowlands.
It is harder to decide what I should level again for the heritage armor. I was thinking death knight to see the new intro experience, but I am not sure how heritage armor is going to work with DKs in 8.3. Maybe monk? If I were not so terrible at playing a mage, the mechagnome tabard with the Time Lordās regalia looks about as steampunk as you can get!

There are likely to be things that still need to be ironed out, since this is from PTR.

Awesome! I donāt have access to the unlock questline on the PTR (maybe because I havenāt run the dungeon yet?), so thanks for sharing the video. It was good to see some familiar faces from Rustbolt, but Walton Cogfrenzy and Izira Gearsworn were notably absent. Hopefully, we will see more of them in the future. And apparently, it is now canon that Mekkatorque plays a mean harmonica, which needs to be shown in game immediately. 
It also looks like thereās a cutscene at the end that hasnāt been implemented yet, where Erazmin and Mekkatorque give a speech to the assembled mechagnomes.

Will be another Allied race I will NOT be participating in, regular gnomes look way better and more realistic in game then the robotic diaper gnomes. But glad another tiny segment of the Alliance Community got what they wanted. imho.

I forgot about the corroded sentries, so there are already three colorways of the heritage armor that currently exist in game, one to match each of the mechagnome metal customization options. It looks like most of the work is already done, although the chestpieces are slightly different and may be unfinished:
There are also two colorways of the mechagnome-themed weapons: gold-silver weapons that drop from the Operation: Mechagon dungeon and rusted weapons that drop from rares on the island. I like that we have the choice between pristine and corroded weapons, and I hope we have the same choice between these three heritage armors.

Microwave, such a great name for a mechagnome! I love how his trusty battle-chicken is as tall as he is, haha. The number of mechanical pet options these days makes hunter a tempting class for a mechagnome.

One of the few here who seem to be genuinely excited about Mechagnomes, but Iāve always been a fan of robotic races in fantasy and sci-fi. Iām that guy who likes to play a Warforged in D&D, and iāve always been partial to the Borg and the Cybermen in their respective universes.

I assume heroic Mechagon will come with this, though I donāt see it listed here for some reason.

Iām a fan, too. I like the questions that robotic races bring to stories about what it means to be āhumanā and have free will. Locutie is another great name!
I donāt see the goblin and worgen heritage armors, either, so hopefully the list is just missing a few things. At least we know the date!

If for some reason heroic Mechagon doesnāt come via LFD, Iāll see if anyone here is interested in forming a Mechagon dungeon group. I have an Alliance and Horde main, both DPS, and we can take our time and keep trying until we win.
I might even be open to doing it in the near future if anyone is particularly interested, just to get it out of the way. Lemme know if anyone is interested.
