Meanwhile in PVE realms...?

I’ve seen many groups fighting. Sometimes I join in, sometimes I ignore it and go about leveling, grinding, farming etc. On pve realms I have a choice.

Horde hunter and I run through a cave taking turns killing Yetis. Finished in half the time it would’ve doing it alone. Then we stuck our tongues out at each other and went our separate ways.

I mean…it can’t be all nice.

Log on and do what? Sit there quietly in contemplation? Or maybe run Strath for the 80th time?

PvP adds an extra element of fun and skill to the game.

They’ve been having pvp just like pvp servers, or have you missed half the thread.

It’s just if they don’t want to pvp they don’t have to, not every one likes pvp, I for one HATE it with a passion.

Actually my guild loves to pvp, they chose to roll on a pvp server, we have multiple people shooting for R14

I just personally despise it.

Business as usual here. However flagging from time to time is quite enjoyable. Especially when random travelers join in the fun.

Never. PvP has never been fun. PvP is not fun now. PvP will never be fun. PvP players are not good people (as your posts continuously demonstrate.)

Debatable.

ITT: PvE server players enjoying choice PvP combat while PvP server players come in with mass amounts of salt.

RP realms can be pretty hectic if people opt into the PvP, the world pvp was back and forth pretty heavily on Bloodsail.

But it sounds alot better than the PvP realms are doing

I havent played today but yesterday on Azuresong the horde were trying to provoke alliance to skirmishes in various places in the world. But we largely ignored it, and it stopped.

I asked “if horde (on azuresong) were so tough, why didn’t they roll pvp server?”

I took an alt out to get some more kingsblood and heavy leather for some faction that seems to want it… with incendasaur scales and coal for some reason. Didn’t occur to me to go see what was going on in the Hillsbrad Foothills.

I mean, just because you rolled on pve doesn’t mean you don’t like the occasional pvp, hence the SSvTM on pve servers

and those of us who hate pvp but are stuck on pvp just accept we’ll die sometimes :stuck_out_tongue:

For you. It’s not fun for me. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt years ago. I have no pvp skills and getting corpse camped for hours because I suck isn’t any fun at all. You do you, boo. Leave the rest of us alone. We’ll decide when and where we want to participate.

yep, same here.
getting old, no reflexes anymore, bad eyesight, bad at PVP to begin with.
so i did the sensible thing, rolled on PVE

Back in vanilla I played on a PVE realm, Llane. I remember there was, a seemingly healthy PvP population at the time and World PvP did happen often.

Rolled PvP this time around because I do love me some PvP and Herod is an absolute bloodbath. Part of me loves the fact that the entire world has erupted into chaos. But I can see how frustrating this can be to levelers. BGs will be a welcome addition, but for now i’m going to enjoy the chaos while it lasts.

There was a pitched battle going between Southshore and Tarren Mill when I ran past there to do quests in the Alterac Mountains. Looked like everyone was having fun. :woman_shrugging: Someone in LocalDefense yelled at some of the Alliance people not to kill the flightmaster because impeding the Horde’s ability to bring in reinforcements was the last thing they wanted.

TM vs SS last night peaked around 100vs100, lots of back and forth.

After an hour or so, I went back to leveling in Feralas, where I was not ganked.

LOL! Years ago someone actually asked me to kill the FM in Splintertree so the horde couldn’t land.

Hilarious!
