MDT justice

Context is king.

He purposely kicked a bee hive and got negative backlash for it. What do you expect from the internet?

Strange that Nnoggie can make threat and harassment toward women in the WoW community and that is okay.

But when someone said one bad thing about him, he cried and wanted a hug?
Oh please.
I doubt people even sent him death threats.
It is the go-to excuse when someone cried on the internet since they never provide proof of the DMs and threats.
Unlike his history with so many proofs of his sexist behavior on Twitter/Twitch.

What is this indentured servitude? The dude does it as a service to the community, right?

I get death threats for winning a hearthstone game. If there’s anything I believe about his story it’s definitely the death threats.

Didn’t Al Capone get arrested for tax evasion?

Gaming culture is inevitably toxic.

I won’t be surprised if there are many unnecessary sexual confessions made in Moonguard.

Virtue signaling that toxic behavior is bad and wrong won’t do much. Everyone has skeletons in their closet.

It’s happened since the beginning of WoW and before it.

The basis of these death threats should be reported to the justice system immediately. And not the frickin WoW community or Twitter for that matter.

No, he couldn’t have Arli…he didn’t have a job so he couldn’t possibly owe taxes he could have been arrested for evading.

It can be difficult to pin a criminal down, they typically will take them down for whatever they can. Just because he was arrested for tax evasion doesn’t mean that’s what they wanted him for.

I don’t see how one criminal charge he received is relevant here though. Do you acknowledge mafia as a legitimate job, drug dealing as a legitimate job, because Al Capone got arrested for tax evasion? What is this logic?

Personally, given the reaction he received I am a little surprised he didn’t just delete the addon all together and tell us to kiss off.

He isn’t a victim. He did it to himself.

Look at this BS.
He was so scare that the internet found out about his behavior that he deleted his comments after sending his Method Josh fans on an innocent WoW female player.
But his toxic behavior can’t hide from the fact how he acts in real life.
Just look at how much he raged on Twitch.

He is fine being a harasser, but he can’t take the heat for 2 days while women in gaming can take the heat for years.

Laughable.
What a fake sexist cry-baby.

I mean “technically” speaking drug dealers do have “jobs” they just don’t have legal ones.

That topic has been discussed though; https://www.quora.com/Do-you-consider-being-a-drug-dealer-a-job

As far as “no passion left” there do exist jobs that are both passion oriented and well jobs where individuals are given compensation; game development is primarily one of them in the industry as being “passion oriented” as the pay is considerably lower for software engineers in this field compared to others.

For all we know Nnoggie wants to keep developing WoW addons; they just also want to be compensated for their work (for whatever reasons those may be that’s not up to consumers to care about).

A real job would be what? Writing a GUI for a car’s infotainment system? How is that any different from developing a WoW addon? The only thing that changed was the client, instead of WoW players it’s a car manufacturer.

All code is obviously not treated / respected by outsiders; it’s value is determined by the produced product and the amount of individuals that want said product. In this case, there is an obvious need for this tool by the community (as evident from the backlash) so the creator has the potential to make an income from it (just via different means).

I don’t know who did what when why or how. I just know I don’t respect people sending death threats over the internet. Especially over a video game of all things.

He did have a job though, it’s called a front. It’s how criminals maintain a “clean” appearance so they don’t get unwanted legal attention. It’s how they create alibis, it’s how they launder their money.

Do you think we live in the wild west? People have been smart and wise for a long time now. Get with it.

Because of the GPL license, these statements haven’t put the project in a state that was any different than a few days ago. Anyone could have put the project up on a new github page (with the data included using a previous version on github) and continued the project. It would be perfectly legal too. Looks like other people are still going to need to put the work in to keep it up to date and maintained. The addon was never going to be “really” paywalled no matter what this guy tried to do.

However, nobody deserves the treatment that’s being described in that message.

I’m not even going to waste my time reading that article lol. Anyone can write any opinion on the internet and make it sound reasonable. Is it a legitimate stance? No.

Who provided the answer? “Mike Sutherlin: 30+yrs active use, lifetime addict, no use today. Liar.” You literally linked me some drug dealer rationalizing being a criminal on the internet LOL. Come on. Try harder. Or just don’t because why are you trying to rationalize being a criminal as if it is a legitimate job?

Okay?
But why respect a sexist like him?
For a few days, he “received” threats(without proof), and we are just going to believe him?

He is like 40+ years old.
He is a man.
He can handle it like one because he is a man.
Man is strong, man is mentality tough.
Man is better at handling emotional situation.

I never said I have a sliver of respect for the person. I just mentioned that sending death threats over a video game is ridiculously stupid. I don’t care about either party because they both are behaving like babies.

He probably did get death threats, there is some sick people out there… Me and my husband received 2 death threats over our restaurant closing days we wanted Monday’s off so we switched having Sunday off to Monday…

And we had death threats over the switch, one of the guys is still in prison because of it…

If he’s actually getting death threats, that’s obviously wrong.

I don’t believe for a second that that’s the actual reason he’s reverting this change, however. Given that…you know… “death threats” are always the wolf being cried by those who stir up crap on the internet.
