I just can’t understand why all the things retail could use as improvements on key issues are being funneled to the classic servers collectively. Unless it’s Microsoft/Blizzard’s way of beta testing them for retail release come Midnight, which would actually be clever of them.

To be clear, this is you hugely exaggerating right? You can’t seriously think that’s a normal amount of time people expect others to raid.
Its what i raided in TBC and Wrath. Ruined a few relationships at that time.

Yeah that’s an extremely high number of hours, even for modern difficulty levels of raiding. If I raided that much (even 4x4) I’d be expecting world top 50 finishes.
Most guilds nowadays are 6-12 hours a week tops.

I don’t think it did… wow pvp isn’t as good as a mobas.
You can argue they dropped the ball on making a moba but wow pvp can’t really ever be good with the current engine.
It can be way better than it is. They went 6 years without making a new BG. Six. Thats embarrassing.

I don’t really think it could be. WoW pvp needs different systems the engine doesn’t really allow to move away from just being cds and dampening.
I mean, you were writing as if there’s possibly no way someone could dislike Legion with zero experience in that expansion, as if it’s the pinnacle of WoW. The timegating in that expansion was off the charts. That’s just one thing I didn’t like about it.

I think thats true in arena. Its not true for BGs. They could do a lot more woth the macro game.

I know people like Snozay only raid 6 hours a week, (2x3). They clear the raid in and make decent progress within that time. Myself we do 3x3.
They’ve gone 20 years without making a BG that’s better than Arathi, so I don’t really see why that’s surprising.
Not overly. All that changes is debating if you can burn through a healers demi god defensives or if you pick of dps instead.

I would actually like to see a break in “raid tier”. Or perhaps not raid, I like raid challenges, but the sheer amount of “farm for x content” to obtain transmog, mounts, etc is what really drains me.
I don’t have time to sit and “farm” for pretty pixels.
